This is an extremely well equipped apartment, with two double bedrooms, large kitchen, bathroom and sitting room - but the crowning glory has to be the large balcony, which has a fantastic view along the peninsula to Capri. A highlight of our holiday was seeing dolphins from the balcony.
Britta, who owns the apartment, lives next door, and is very welcoming and helpful. She had booked taxi transfers for us from and to Naples airport, which were excellent, and certainly made our journeys easy and worry-free.
We used buses to get around while we were in Praiano, which were often quite crowded, but certainly seemed easier to us than trying to drive and park in places like Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.
We did all our shopping at the excellent grocers on the street below the apartment, which seemed to stock everything we needed. There are plenty of restaurants in Praiano - we had a particularly good meal at La Brace.

We stayed 5 days in this very comfortable and exceptionally clean apartment. Everything sparkled with cleanliness including all the kitchen appliances and equipment.
You enter the property through a locked door into a communal hallway shared with the owners who live behind the apartment and you enter the apartment through a separate locked door.
This 2 bedroom apartment with separate lounge room, kitchen and bathroom is on the 3rd floor from street level. It has a large private terrace approximately 10m x 4.5m with uninterrupted views across the Mediterranean to the Island of Capri. The terrace has a table and 4 chairs and also 2 sun lounges. There are also 2 shade shelters that wind out above the french doors and these were easy to operate.
The lounge room has a large flat screen TV, large storage unit with various books, board games and children's toys. There are two 2 seater sofa's and a coffee table. There are 2 glass french doors that open out onto the terrace so you can sit in the lounge and look at the great view.
The kitchen has a large gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, large fridge and a large variety of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Tea towels, dish washing liquid, dishwasher tablets and a range of spices are provided. There is a round table with chairs in the centre of the room.
The bathroom has a basin in a vanity cabinet, shower over the bath, toilet, bidet and washing machine. A number of towels were provided and a bath mat.
Bedroom 1 has good storage, a desk and glass french doors that look out onto the terrace. Shutters are on the outside of the french doors and when closed they stop light coming into the bedroom. Good lights are provided above each side of the bed so very good for reading in bed. A small safe is installed on the bookcase that houses various books in different languages. Extra pillows and blankets are stored in the cupboards above the bed.
Bedroom 2 has a huge mirror fronted built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and a window.
Air conditioners are in each bedroom, the lounge room and the kitchen.
WiFi internet is available and was quick when used in the kitchen.
Just about everything you need is supplied and I am sure I have missed some things.
Parking was easy for us on the street about 200 metres from the apartment, which seems to be rare for the towns along the Amalfi Coast.
There is a mini supermarket under the apartment at street level and this stocks bread, milk, cold meats, cheese's, fresh fruit & vegetables, cold drinks and various grocery lines. There is a butcher just a short distance up the street towards the large church and also a number of restaurants and a good takeaway shop with Pizza & Pasta.
Britta the owner was very helpful from my first contact with her via email then sitting down with us when we arrived explaining how things worked in the apartment and what there was to see and do in Praiano and along the Amalfi Coast through to telling us the best way to drive to Naples when we left. She was very professional in her approach and provided official receipts for our booking.
I highly recommend this very good apartment for your stay on the Amalfi Coast.
The sunset view from the terrace was amazing.
The 3 flights of stairs are a bit steep so not good for people with disabilities.
We loved the little village of Praiano and look forward to visiting again.
Thanks Britta for looking after us so well and for providing such a clean and great apartment.
