I really didn't want to do a review as it was so fabulous and wanted to keep all to ourselves.
Booked this through summer in Italy who were very efficent. would use them again.

Margherita the owner, she also owns the hotel across the road, was on site to welcome us and did a comprehensive tour of the property. Nothing was to much trouble and any issues to let her know anytime. there is everthing you need provided. The one thing missing is microwave, not that we needed it. The entrance is straight into a large bedroom with ensuite and very large bed, the window has a juilet balcony over looking the sea, it was also blessed with airconditioning, there is also an other room with draws etc. Plenty of hanging space. Downstairs is an other bedroom looking out over the sea, with patio doors to the lower patio.
The kitchen is on this level and well presented and spacious. there is also a shower room and washing machine.
The villa is fabulous with three patio area's and all covered in Lemon, fig trees and grape vines. the views where absolutely fantastic from sunrise to sunset. It was beautiful to sit on the patio overlooking the sea. The only issue where the mosquitoes, so bring plenty of spray.
Another added advantage is, you can use the swimming pool in Hotel Margherita across the road, the restaurant is rather good as well, we ate ther on the last night.
Praiano has plenty of steps which kept us fit. A must is also the Path of Gods from Praiano to Positano, where it is over a 1000 steps to reach the mountain top. the views are stunning. All information can be gained from the Tourist office in the town.
There are a couple of mini marts tutt Tutti is the easiest one to get to less of a climb. The cheapest one is in the town. Not too bad getting there, but a 17% hill to walk up on the way back.

Wow! What an experience!

This villa is run by an awesome lady of the same name as the Hotel Margherita just across the road. I have never heard of a Hotel owner and Villa manager with such a hands on approach as what we witnessed during our stay at Villa Sirana.

Before I even get to the villa I will say this; staying at Villa Sirana will be worth it just on basis of Margherita's hospitality alone. Never before have we experienced such hospitality as we did this past holiday.

As for the Villa itself I'll start by saying that there are a few value-added touches that you would not normally get in a villa; thanks to Margherita no doubt. The Villa is well maintained has lovely gardens and two terraces with lovely views of the Med. There are three different places from which you can sit and relax and enjoy the views.

As for the facilities everything you could possibly need is included except for a microwave. The property enjoys all the personality and character traits of its past yet enjoys all the mod cons you'd need for a comfortable stay. Plug points and switches (conveniences) are in plentiful supply and there are no hidden costs or extras.

The property has its own private parking; a real must if you are staying in Amalfi with a rental car. In addition to the proximity of the hotel there is a bus-stop for getting around sans a car and the laundromat, two restaurants, doctor and pharma are all a stones throw away. The pharma even stocks gluten free products. Just a short walk away you also have the supermarket who will even deliver to your Villa.

While the property does not have its own internet connection you do have free access to secure Wi-Fi at the Hotel. This Villa is a great stay and Margherita is real gem.

All in all definitely recommended!
