We waited at the rendezvous spot for 2 hours awaiting the arrival of the key and directions to the house, which is really Casa Nineta. Casa Fiorenza is a fictitious name used to deflect the bad reviews.
I was surprised when we were required to pay 50 euros for help getting our luggage from the parking spot up the 80+ steps to the front door [same price for getting them down] .
The wifi was turned off and not turned on until we threatened to leave. The heat is turned off and we slept in our clothes the first nite - it was so cold. The manager told us it was against the italian law to turn it on. The clothes dryer does not work but we received clothes pins to use on the line across the patio. The second bath has fragrant mold and sewer odors. The nearby grocery store is usually closed and never open on Sunday when you will want to supplement the meager foods you will find upon arrival.
The patio door- mostly single pane glass- was slammed shut by the wind and shattered, covering my wife with facial cuts and a mouthful of shards. Safety glass would seem to be a requirement.
This is not the place you want to stay and the managers are quit difficult to work with.
We rent our vacation home and were shocked at the treatment we received. We left after 2 days and found a lovely hotel in Sorrento.
