My wife and I had an incredible time during our holiday and loved everything about the property. It was in a perfect location near the beach so we did not have to walk long distances up and down the hills. The villa was extremely comfortable and had everything we could want. Thank you so much for all of your help with questions ams getting us settled in after a long trip. Your hospitality is the best! We cannot wait to return. Grazie mille Edmundo!
We recently stayed at Villa Costanzo in Positano!
Our first impression was that the villa is just steps from the beach, ferry and wonderful shops and restaurants.
Edmondo the owner met us on our arrival and gave us a very thorough tour of the villa and explained all the appliances and provided us with a discount card for some of the local establishments and services.
The villa is very clean and has a nice layout.
We enjoyed our stay at the Villa and in Positano!
After arriving by ferry we were very happy that Villa Costanzo was only about a 5 minute walk past lots of nice restaurants that we checked out on our way. A few steps up and we were met by Edmondo and his son who gave us a detailed tour of his property. Edmondo was very excited to show us how to work his new windows and shutters that he said now kept out a lot of the noise as his property is in the center of it all. We loved opening the main windows and sitting on the patio watching people below carry on with their lives.
The only drawback was that the shower was a little tight to get into if you are of a larger size, but Edmondo said he was thinking of putting in a larger one as there was plenty of space in the bathroom.
There was a bowl of candies on the table- thank you Edmondo we ate quite a few in the evenings!
We really enjoyed our time at this Villa and if we stayed longer we would have used the kitchen more.
Thank you Edmondo for making our stay at your villa comfortable and memorable.
As we sat on the balcony overlooking the main beachfront stairs sipping on Prosecco, a man looked up at us and said "You know you have the best Villa in Positano". We replied with a yes and sat and pondered how lucky we had been to spend the last 14 nights in the beautiful Villa Costanzo. When looking online for a suitable location to spend 15 nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, with me wishing to surprise my wife with arranging a Marriage Celebrant to renew our vows we had certain criteria the Villa needed to meet. For Sarah, it was a balcony over looking the ocean while sipping a glass of wine. For me, it was that I wanted to be local. I wanted to be able to put Cheese, Sausage, Wine, Beer and general local produce in our Villa, so we could cook our own meals if we felt that way, drink our own wine and beer if we wanted to. I also wanted to be where the action was, with world class restaurants and bars on our doorstep. Villa Costanzo met and exceeded these requirements. The owner of the Villa, Edmondo, made our checkin after a long flight seemless and met us at 5.30am for our checkout. We loved our time at Villa Costanzo and encourage others to share in the beauty of this Villa in the magnificent Positano.
I stayed at the villa for one week with my husband and 14 year old daughter in June 2017. Positano is fabulous. Loved the week we had there. The villa is in a fabulous location right at the beach and at the shops restaurants and close to the ferrys which is a great advantage. On arrival by private transfer from Napoli it is pedestrian access and our bags were transported by a small van/ trailer for 10 euro per bag. When we left we got a ferry to Capri and then Napoli and because it is so easy and Close to the ferry there are no additional costs. It is easy access to a deli to buy food you need for your stay. The apartment is clean and well equipped. The down sides are only a little juliette balcony so you can't sit outside. It can be noisy when windows open but you need to leave on aircon all the time to keep cool and the apartment has good insulation against most noise. There is no real lounge room. Second bedroom with 2 singles a bit unusual. The shower is the biggest problem. The opening is so small it is very difficult to get in and out of even if you are not big. If you are big you could not stay here. It was very disappointing that we had to wait about 45 or so minutes for owner to arrive. I had kept him informed all the way and when we left Rome and arrived in Napoli. He wanted a phone call from Napoli and it would not work. After travelling from Australia over 24 hours we were very tired and waiting to get into the apartment was not a good start. On the whole apartment because of location was great and our stay in Positano fantastic.
