Were here in 2013 and when coming back to Italy this time could not wait to book into this wonderful restaurant. The food is just fantastic and the best thing is you don't have to think about it they just serve you with wonderful food. We started with salad, beans, cured meats, cheese and tomatoes, olives etc, then pastas, BBQ meat, finished off with limoncello, coffee. We just love the place and think it is very reasonably priced for what you receive.

Wow! Seriously this place is a must go, just make sure that you book in advance. We tried booking but they said they were fully booked and I really wanted to go before we left Positano, so we got our hotel to see what they can do cause the next night that we wanted to go was actually our last night in Positano... And behold, we were in. Yeeeessss!!!! Woo hoo!
Ok, so this place is situated pretty high in the mountains and to get there they actually organize a bus to pick-up all guests from there hotels. Awesome! Sit back relax while the driver takes you thru the narrow streets of Positano to your destination. When we got there we were greeted I think by one of the owners and everyone was taken to there tables.
A group of us asked if we can have a little tour of the farm and one of the staff was kind enough to show us and tell us a little bout the history. Check it out its pretty cool.
Now to the food... Everything on the menu is grown on the farm and all the meats is also from the farm. I guess you wouldn't want to name your animals for the reason they will probably be dinner. A delicious one...
Its like a 6 course meal and unlimited wine plus transfers for 40 euros. That is just crazy good. My wife and I payed 50 euros each and still felt we under payed.
Everything bout this place make you feel like nothing else matters and this very moment makes you happy that you're here. Its the food, the wine, the company, the views of Positano, and service of the owners and staff, their passion about food, the love they put into their food and their desire to make guests feel welcomed and happy thru their work.
It was truly an amazing and memorable night for us. We are sad that we have left Positano but happy that our stay ended with La Tagliata. Thanks to Mama's home style cooking and the staff. Tutto Bello. Ciao!

Incredible dining experience in Positano. Need to get a taxi/bus here (bus was 40 mins trip for €1.30 one way, taxi back was 15 mins for €35 but I believe they can pick you up from Positano if you come for dinner). Went for lunch and experienced amazing views. There's no menu and the food just kept on coming! Everything was so fresh and delicious and the staff were lovely. Would recommend calling them a couple of days before to book as it does get busy. Cost was €40 per person including a bottle of wine.

Family run business who told us on arrival we were not guest's but part of the family. They definitely made us feel extremely welcome. Rooms had everything and a view to die for. Food at breakfast was plentiful and of great variety. Evening meal is real mama made Italian food and some of the best I have ate in my many holidays to Italy. One tip do not eat much during the day if you are visiting here in the evening as the food is unlimited.
