When we arrived in Porte Venere our host recommended "Paul" to us. Cozy and beachy and a great view of the water and piazza. The service was great. They were attentive and helpful.
The first night we ordered Filetto (perfecto!), Insalate miste (meh), pizza cotto (amazing), pasta pomedoro and grilled calamari. The house red was great and went well with all we ordered. The locals were also eating there. People stopped in and chatted with those sitting around us.
Later in the week we went back for "just pizza." The wood oven produces a perfectly alive and crisp crust and the toppings were fresh. (no canned mushrooms)
