We stayed in Orvieto 3 nights. The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the wonderful city. The rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. What put the stay over the top for us was the warm welcome from Jude and his wife (she worked the breakfast buffet). Jude went out of his way to make our family feel welcomed.

The parking was not an issue either. We pulled up to the hotel and someone escorted us to the parking garage. We left very early in the morning, so Jude brought the car up for us the night before, and put it in a lot nearby. Parking was 15 euros / day,

Room Tip: room 1&2 - near entrance, with a separate alcove door we could shut for privacy. Heard some of t...

Room was not big but had everything needed for a weekend stay, was clean and well equipped with even free Wifi. Good complementary buffet breakfast in an underground cave. Staff was really courteous and helpful. And its near the old part of the city, so has a charm to the location.

We stayed 2 nights in Orvieto and couldn't be happier with our choice of hotel. From the moment we arrived until the day we left the treatment we received was outstanding. The room was small, but very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and ready to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was decent. If ever back in Orvieto this would again be my choice

We stayed at this hotel in May of 2017. The building was quaint and beautiful, and they have done an elegant job bringing it up to date while keeping the simple charm. We were on the upper floor, and the room was beautiful, overlooking the cobblestone street. We especially loved the windows which added interest to the decor, and let in a gentle breeze when needed. It was a little noisy in the morning, as the city woke up and made their way up the street, but it only added to the charm. The best part of the hotel was Sachi, who was helpful, attentive and funny. The service was great all around, from the delicious coffee in the morning, to the wonderful cleaning staff.

The hotel was clean, had good common space with a living room type area on the second floor, and a charming bar by the entrance. We dropped off our luggage and then the staff parked our car. It really wasn't a problem to go get the car when we needed it.

Sachi had great recommendations for restaurants and day trips. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for its charm, old world but updated feel, and excellent staff.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the street if you'd like to see the comings and going of the town.

This is a lovely hotel in the middle of a beautiful, unique, small city in Umbria! The room was large and nicely furnished, with a nice, fully-appointed bathroom. The lobby, bar area, and breakfast rooms were all quite gracious. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked with a wide choice of items. The staff was friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, the concierge recommended a restaurant just down the street that turned out to be one of the best meals I've ever had anywhere. It is easy to walk to all the attractions from the hotel, but it is nicely located on a quiet street. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone stopping in Orvieto.
