Overall good but I just want to advise about a few things:
Firstly can I say the customer service from reception was first class and they organised trips and restaurants for us etc.
The accommodation is advertised as being on two sites which are 1.5km from Aquiviva. One of the sites is but the other is 1km further way and it is all uphill (the advert says 300m but it is 1km). This makes it unpleasant to walk to the shops or restaurants or nip down and get bread if you are on the more distant site. I would think which site may suit you best. We were in the more distant site and without a car it was more difficult.
Also whilst the properties were clean and tidy there is a time when "rustic" becomes "needs refurbishment" and our bathroom had certainly reached this time, especially the shower.
Also - if you do choose to pay the extra €9 per day for the air conditioning (we did) you cannot use the cooker or microwave is it overloads the electricity.
We really enjoyed our stay here although there were one or two minor issues. The good things were:
fresh bread from the baker at the gate every morning
a very nice pool
quiet and secluded
good restaurants nearby
very helpful staff who will book restaurants for you
Less positive were:
although it says it's in Montepulciano Statione it's actually quite a drive away - and a significant drive into Montepulciano itself - as stated on the website
the apartment is a bit small for 4 adults as our party was
finding it was quite difficult - make sure you have a decent map or good satnav
