This is a comfortable, relaxing hotel with nothing flashy or too modern. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. All the staff are welcoming and helpful and the restaurant serves delicious food. The setting, next to the park is a real plus. Beautiful trees and birdsong with your breakfast and dinner! Definitely not a 5 star hotel but one that provides 5 star value for money and relaxation.

Room Tip: The hotel setting ensures that all rooms are quiet and peaceful with no noticable traffic.

A small hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. They recognised their guests and greeted them like old friends.
Our room was large with plenty of storage space. We had everything we needed but the room was rather "basic" in its decor, a picture or two would have perked it up no end. The bathroom and the toilet in particular were in need of upgrade. However, there was nothing that a bit of TLC would not put right.
I feel I am nit-picking but we were pleased overall with the hotel and accommodation and the food was tasty and obviously "home-cooked" and fresh.
We were able to have breakfast in the garden on some of the mornings which was lovely as it is adjacent to the thermal park and an idyllic setting.
Thank you to the owners/managers and staff for their contribution to the success of our holiday in a beautiful area of Italy.

Room Tip: Rooms with a balcony overlook the thermal park

We stayed there just one day due to a mistake in our schedule but remember this place amongst the other 11 hotels! We were received as good old friends who came to stay for a week. The hotel is located next to the wonderful park, the hotel restaurant can serve you in the park between trees and flowers. It was late October, rather cool - and just for us a space outside was prepared and warmed up. The room was not brand new but the entire atmosphere mistiriously turned it into the cozy and home looking place. We enjoyed our lunch and dinner there.

Room Tip: Don't be afraid if the hotel is not just in front of the railroad station!

My husband and I just spent 9 days at Hotel Mediterraneo with our friend to celebrate her special birthday - we had spent 3 days here 2 years ago and it was our friends first visit - we found everything perfect in every way - the location is perfect for exploring Montecatini and a great base for day trips to other areas - the rooms were split spot clean and nicely appointed - the breakfast each day was super yummy - most importantly the staff are all delightful - very hospitable, attentive, friendly and made us feel so very welcome - the atmosphere was perfect for our liking - relaxing and casual!!

Stayed a week in this friendly family hotel in a quiet but convenient location next to lovely park. Not expensive, great food and we had dinner there every night rather than look elsewhere in town. Only complaint was our table wasn't big enough for all our food, wine etc. Place was clean, staff and owner all helpful. We recommend without any hesitation. Montecatini convenient for visiting Florence, Pisa, Lucca etc by quick cheap trains.
