Great hotel, rooms are comfy, clean, modern and very spacious. Double bed is HUGE! Staff are very friendly and helpful especially with their local knowledge, buses times etc. Most staff also speak good english which was very helpful to me! Arriving quite late due to our flight we decided to try the hotels restaurant for dinner and i have to say i was taken by surprise.... Delicious, fresh food and lovely service, not badly priced either. We didn’t have breakfast here so couldn’t comment.

Location - very easy to get to historic venice (main bus station ~ Place Roma) on the no.6 bus (be careful of bus 6L as it doesn’t go near hotel) - the bus stop for the hotel is TRIESTE which is 3 mins walk from the hotel. Buses run from 0600-0000hrs and the journey is 20 mins to ‘old’ venice. Bus tickets for sale at the hotel too for the same price as anywhere else!

Lastly! Location is close to a major motorway type flyover road, we had a window overlooking it but you don’t hear anything - so don’t worry!!

Mercure Venezia quite challenging if you travel with big luggage as you need to walk quite far in non road path after get off from bus. But if you considering rent car or taxi, this hotel will be good option. Got upgraded room as we accor member. Breakfast is good enough. Best facility is the washing & drying machines located at -1 floor, it’s free so you can clean up all dirty clothes to continue your journey. Helpful staff also. Thanks

Its a new hotel and very modern.

Very helpful and nice Enrico and Erika at the front desk.

The location is excellent, you can get by bus to piazzale Roma in Venice, just walking 8 minutes to the bus stop.

They sell tickets for the public transportation at the front desk. They even explained us how to go by vaporetto, to Murano and Burano, with the same ticket that you need for the bus, the cost is €20 for 24hrs, and you can use it in any transportation in the area of Venice.

They also offer private transportation that cost €40 to the airport and the cruise terminal, but make sure you are on time because if you cancell the schedule private transportation, you have to pay 50% penalty.

Spent 3 days here earlier this year. We arrived quite late in the evening. One thing to note is the hotel isnt around anything, so you cant really easily go out to get food or for a drink. The room was nice, spacious and modern. Sadly the bed was super hard which doesn't suit me. The breakfast was nice which was good. You have to walk for 10min to a bus stop then take that into Venice, which takes about 30min. It was easy enough to catch, but was very full.
