This is a great hotel that is warm and welcoming with a touch of the old worlde charm about it. There is a lovely bar and seating area and when the weather is warm there is also a garden to sit out in. There is no pool but as you are only a stone throw from the sea it is not such an issue.
The room was spacious and well furnished and the bathroom was a good size too with a very good shower.
Breakfast is served in the first floor breakfast room and has fresh fruit, cereal, pastries and cakes along with meat and cheese.
No restaurant in the hotel, but plenty around.

Hotel Carmine is a hidden gem on the edge of the old part of the city. This property should be rated at least 4 stars. Clean comfortable rooms and walking distance to a rejuvenated old part of the city. Lobby and bar area are quiet, comfortable and they make a good drink. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. It also has parking whick is in a street very close to the hotel.
The room is OK, the bathroom could use a renovation.
Brekfast was good but I also (as a review written bwfore me) got my capuccino in a glass instead of a normal coffee cup, while others had normal cups....didn't understand that.
The staff is friendly.
All in all it was a good stay, especially great for location and parking.

An antique building tastefully renovated and pristine, clean....front desk personnel were welcoming...although my room was on the lobby level and did not look down into the lovely secluded garden area where guests may relax and take breakfast, it was more than spacious for three people...clean and fresh, comfortable with a leather coach to relax on, too...high arched ceilings, exposed rock and brick, spacious bathroom with a large shower. The breakfast spread was excellent--the cakes a must, plentiful fruits and meats. One issue: after requesting two cappuccino (politely in Italian), they were brought to my table in large "rocks glasses" with NO handle. It was so hot that we were unable to pick up the glass to drink--had to use my demitasse spoon...as we looked around at other guests who had ordered cappuccino, we noticed they all received their cappuccino in a "normal" coffee cup with a handle and saucer...there was only one other person who received her cappuccino in this strange glass--she was speaking French...Not sure if it was my imagination, but it appeared the barista gave anyone she thought was NOT a "native Italian" their cappuccino in these ridiculous glasses....very strange and annoying....other than this, this hotel is a great find, quiet area, super close to all Marsala's pedestrian streets that are alive in the evening to enjoy an aperitivo, dinner, and shopping.

This is a really charming hotel, slightly on the edge of Marsala, but close enough to make the centre easy walking distance.

It is situated on the edge of a square, close to an old convent and a short walk to the main art gallery.

It has a wonderful walled garden, and if you are on the top floor there is a semi private terrace overlooking the garden.

The best room is number 30, on the top floor, with a great bedroom, a separate area with a sofa and a bathroom with a spa bath. There is also access onto a shared terrace.

Breakfast was good, with a surfeit of cakes, some days at least 6 and 3 different types of croissant.

Room Tip: Room 30 on the top floor is large and has a spa bath.
