The town of Lerici is quite interesting - the parts along the sea front are quite cosmopolitan with trendy cafes and eateries, but the back streets are quite scruffy. With this in mind we chose L'Ancora as it was well situated within the main busy square. The place itself is typically touristy but the waiters are friendly and helpful and the ambience is good. We were a largish group and some of our food (Sea Bass, Mussels) was excellent. Other dishes (Spaghetti and Swordfish) were average and a touch on the tasteless side. Perhaps ask the head waiter for his best dish of the day so that you don't find yourself disappointed. Great atmosphere.
