Wow, where do I begin, this family run hotel is the best in the area. Alfredo and his family looked after us so well and we had 3 balcony rooms on the 3rd floor with splendid views out to the bay, by far the best rooms .The breakfast is very good, all cold but after a night out eating Pizza, pasta and ice cream it was fine .Lovely coffee. The family are very helpful if you want to go anywhere or see anything, if not just enjoy the beach across the road.We will definitely go again as soon as we can.

Room Tip: Balcony rooms sell out quickly but are by far the best.

We arrived in late morning from Genoa so that we could have a full first day and our room was ready. They didn't offer cleaning but sent out our cloths locally for 24-hour service. The accommodations were comfortable and the building was clean and well-run by the family that managed it. Breakfast was generous, everyone looked after our needs & was very friendly, and it was easily within reach the boat ride to Cinque Terre. The passaggiatta along the shoreline in the evening is fabulous. At high season the beach that the hotel faces gets crowded quickly, mostly with locals (think of a lot of babies bathing in the same tub), so ask the manager to help you locate other nearby beaches that are more remote and worth exploring

Room Tip: Many rooms have balconies with a comfortable outdoor chair: ask for one facing the sea.

We spend 4 nights in Florida Lerici in july 2016. The location next to the Beach and 10 minutes walk from Lerici is great. The room was clean and wellfunctioning but small for 4 people to fit in. The service at the hotel is very good and the standard of the breakfast is Way over normal italian standards (eggs, bacon, cheese, cases, ham, jam, a number of differient pastries, fruit, yoghurt etc.). The Street Right next to the hotel and people partying at the Beach at Night can be a bit noisy...There are boats sailing to 5 terre in Lerici. The views at the trip is wonderful but the cities themselves are NOT very interesting and completely overcrowded with Tourists. We found Lerici and portovenere much more interesting!

We couldn't be happier with this hotel or the resort. There is parking next to or in front of the building garage parking for the motorbike. The staff were really friendly and welcoming the room was spacious enough for our needs free bottled water in the fridge and a balcony room on the 3rd floor overlooking the free beach and the very pretty town. A fairly flat 10 to 15 min walk to both resorts and the ferry. Lerici has more to see and more choice of eateries. we could not ask for better form a 3 star hotel.Only downside the GP coordinates seemed to be wrong on the directions given to us?

Room Tip: Ask for seafront

Hotel Florida is in a great location for touring the Ligurian Coast, Lucca, Pisa, or just relaxing on the beach. Our family booked two rooms, although small size by US standards, they were very comfortable. The staff and service were exceptional, especially Ramona and Valentina, who provided some very good recommendations to augment our itinerary. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing the water.
