Hotel directly across from beach. Stunning views. Plenty of Restaurants & Bars close by. Hotel just does B&B. Good choice of food to choose from for breakfast. Hotel room cleaned ever day. Hotel about an hour's coach drive from Airport. Would definitely recommend this Hotel & we definitely will return next year.

I stay at this hotel for 5 nights, the room they give us was small, dirty, whit a view at the next building so we could see and hear the people living there, and a lot of noise, i had a verry bad experience at this hotel, the only advantage is that the ocean is across the street

We spend a week at this hotel and had a really good time. We were lucky to have an upgrade to the spacious suite with a balcony and great view towards Taormina and onto the sea. We didn't really like the breakfast, but found a lovely pasticceria close by. The hotel is right across the street from the beach and the bus stop to reach Taormina and other places is only a short walk away. It can be a bit loud on the weekend because the street right in front of the hotel turns into a car free promenade in the evenings.
Ivana at the front desk is definitely the soul of the establishment and was very helpful. Thanks again and hey from Berlin, Claudia & Jo

Comfortable, clean and very friendly hotel right on the beach. A place to feel at home. All the staff were faultless in their service.
Ivana the Receptionist in particular was so helpful. She recomended the best Tour Operator in Sicily, who made our stay become one of the most magical holidays. The room service staff noticed (without our asking) that we like a lot of pillows on our bed and provided them for our return on the first evening. The breakfast buffet was very good consisting of a good variety including hot food to set us up for a days activities. Our flight time home was late, but though check out time is 10.30 am there was a place to keep our luggage and shower with fresh towels to freshen up before departing. The coffee at the bar was the nicest of all the restaurants we tried in the area and only €1.00 per cup. The free hotelWIFI speed was excellent too! I most definitly will be back!

We have almost finished our stay at Tysandros and would not hesitate to return to or recommend this family owned and run hotel. Well located on the Lungomare, public beach or private Lido on each side and surrounded by good eating places of all prices. Big tip! We flew to Catania and the bus at the airport (Etnabus/Interbus) takes you almost to the door. Ask for St. Giovanni.

The hotel itself is well kept and there has been lashings of hot water whenever we needed. Many of the rooms have a sea view but we preferred a side room that was really quiet to enjoy reading on the balcony before or after our dinner. The breakfast is varied and generous and all the staff are good natured and helpful. Particular mention has to be given to Ivanna the receptionist who was permanently cheerful, happy to assist us with concert and railway bookings and generally really good fun.

We will certainly be back!
