I had chanced upon this hotel on a previous cycle trip in June 2011 and was pleasantly surprised to find that it's quality & service far exceeded it's official-star rating. Returning this year, it was good to find that it's impeccable standards remain just as good (if not better!)

A wonderful family owned and run hotel in the midst of the small town of Garda overlooking the lake. Set in the middle of an olive grove it is a stone's throw away from the hustle & bustle of the town, but at the same time very quiet and serene, hidden in it's own lovely landscaped garden.
The service here is excellent and personalised with great attention to every detail. Buffet breakfasts are substantial and the 3-course evening meals consist of the best regional cuisine home-cooked with the freshest local ingredients of the day.

With only 12 rooms, the hotel feels very "homely" and the proprietors make this felt from the moment you arrive on their doorstep. The best rooms are those with balconies facing the lake, but the other rooms are equally just as quiet and pleasant.
A wonderful jacuzzi with surrounding timber deck lies under the shade of the olive trees and the hotel's packages with Gardacqua enable one to enjoy the spa's full facilities as well. The secure off-street parking is a great bonus.

This is an ideal place to use as a base for exploring the area with it's numerous walking & mountain-biking trails, road biking, Largo di Garda and the wonderous surrounds of the region.
Highly recommended.

It's a small familly run hotel having a wonderfull oliv tree garden with a jacuzzi. that makes all the money. Rooms are very common, NO refrigerator in the rooms so you can not keep a bbottle of cold water even if outside it's very hot, Air conditioning is activated by the owner for no more than 2-3 hours during evening so you as guest do not controll the temperature in the room. Bathroom is old and not very friendly. The plastic courtain at the shower is very disapointing.
Buffet breakfast with a limited choice without fresh vegetables but with some fresh fruits.
The general feeling we had is that we were at the disposal of the owner( timetable for air conditioning, for dinner, for a glass of cold water etc).
Position of the hotel : excellent -only few walking minutes to the lake were you can find very good restaurants, coffe shops etc..

Situated in the midst of an olive grove, on the Eastern slopes of the hills overlooking lake Garda and a short five minute walk from cosmopolitan Garda town itself and the lake’ s shore.
My wife and I keep coming back year after year to this «home» away from home.
Mama Giovanna cooks in the evening the most delicious Italian dishes while smiling and elegant Signora Maria (her daughter) oversees the service in the cozy and inviting dinning room.
There is a feeling of one’ s home all over this simple, tranquil and very cozy place with Art hanging on the walls and furniture reminiscent of the good old style of things.
A most relaxing time can be enjoyed in the fully glazed veranda overlooking the fascinating olive trees and the panoramic views across the valley.
The breakfast buffet offers a variety of choices typical of the Italian breakfast table.
The twelve room hotel is immersed in olive and cypress trees as well as roses and other plants.
The grounds surrounding the property are for the visitors’ s use where one enjoys moments of total relaxation surrounded by perfectly looked after nature.
There is also free parking in the protected courtyard.
This is a gem of a hotel where Hospitality is the order of the day, every day.
