The furniture is a bit old, but the rooms are clean. The owner couldn't have looked after our Leger group any better - early breakfasts when required, and drinks at the bar late into the evening.
Fiuggi is a spa town in the cooler hills south of Rome - a beautiful spot. This part of Fiuggi is full of hotels, but also lots of locals promenading in the evening. Good restaurants are about a 10 minute walk away. We didn't have the set evening meal, but plenty of our party did, so the food must have been acceptable.

Room Tip: Room 28 has a huge balcony. Some chairs out there would have been nice. And wi-fi was only available near the door.

As chattycathy and june1940 said, food very expensive for what it was, but as we were on a tour, were expected to get back to hotel for evening meal, rather than staying somewhere better value to eat on way back. The owners didn't like us coming back late anyway, so surely it would have been better all round to stay somewhere on way back. One evening I didn't eat any of my starter or main course, as meat too chewy too eat. Nearly threw up by choking. Told the owners, but didn't get a reduction. Breakfast typical continental - but could have done with some reorganisation. Like the toaster not being in the middle of the queue - causing a traffic jam at the toaster. And putting drinks somewhere seperate would have been a good idea too.
Had no problems with the cold during the thunderstorms, but I'm glad it wasn't too hot - as no aircon.
I've been put off group tours now, as were just rushed around, which wasn't really necessary during light evenings to stay out. We were only allowed a few seconds in the Sistine Chapel, whereas if we'd gone in alone, could have as long as we wanted. I've been with the same company before, and last time they were great. Too many hidden charges this time. It seems to have totally changed.

Location - I wouldn't choose the location personally, as would have preferred to be in the village of Fuiggi itself, to get chance to nip to shop, or other restaurants. Nice enough hotel though, clean and airy..Free wifi available, but hit and miss.

Room Tip: ask for balcony. I did, but didn't get one. Rooms at back have nice countryside view

Really cannot say enough about this perfect hotel, we arrived after 36 hours on a coach and a warm welcome awaited us. The hotel is quite small but the family are so wonderful, some of the rooms have balconies, all have shower, bidet and toilet. My mother became ill on day 2 and the family really couldn't do enough for us. This is a bed and breakfast but it is possible to have evening meal, the hotel is well situated for small town which is about 10 minute walk.

This was by far the worst holiday I have been on. The hotel was clean but basic. The hotel had no
Heating even though the temperature fell as low as 6 degrees coupled with thunderstorms and torrential rain. Everything felt really damp and uncomfortable. As has already been said In earlier Reviews, the ride into Rome took over two hours and the optional tours were certainly not worth the money. Free time in Rome meant you just had time for a coffee due to all the queueing and waiting around for guides. The trip to the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel was the biggest rip off. We were pushed and shoved and herded like cattle and although the walk to the Sistine Chapel was quite pleasant the visit itself was appalling. On entry into the Chapel our guide instructed us to go to the far end of the chapel where we thought we could look at the paintings but once we were all together she took us through the door. Our time in the Chapel was exactly three minutes. So very upsetting for all and left a really angry crowd of people.
Our trip to Capri was no better. We were up at the crack of dawn and arrived back late at 8.00 here again we were herded, pushed and shoved all over. we queued up to get on the ferry. To get off the Ferry. To go up the funicular and back again. All we had time for was toilet visit and coffee. Another great Rip Off. Please anyone taking this trip be advised that it is not suitable for anyone with even the slightest of disabilities. One of our group paid to go on two of the walking tours and was unable to go because of the difficulty in walking. I could go on but I won't. suffice to say it was the worst trip I have ever been on.

We stayed here as part of a Leger Holiday. And the previous review says it all. The hotel was cold. We were there at the beginning of the season and the weather was unseasonable, consequently it was cold and the only night there was heat in the dining room was the only night it didn't need it. Heat never got to the rooms and therefore towels used at night were still damp in the mornings. We used all the spare blankets. Meals were expensive for what they were. And breakfast was sparse to say the least. We ate out in town a few nights and arrived back at the hotel no later than 10.15 to find everyone else had gone to bed and the disapproving lady waiting for us. We felt like naughty schoolkids. This hotel felt very unwelcoming.
