I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here. I booked this accommodation as a stopover during our travel from Milan to Antibes. It is a vineyard in the hills above Diano Marina. It was signposted from Diano Marina upward.

The views of the Mediterranean from the vineyard are beautiful. We checked in at the tasting room and were offered a wine tasting which we happily accepted. We ended up buying a few bottles to take with us for the rest of our trip. Our accommodation was a very clean, modern, comfortable two room apartment with a kitchen and a private outdoor terrace with views of the sea and the hills. It was hot so we were glad that the unit had AC. We also enjoyed a swim in the pool. For dinner, we drove about 5 minutes down to the nearby Hotel Liliana recommended by staff as it was close to the vineyard and we were tired.

We had ordered breakfast for 10E each and in the morning, staff delivered a lovely big basket with milk, blood orange juice, croissants, pastries, mini sandwiches, yogurt, juicy ripe apricots, etc., which we enjoyed on our terrace, gazing at the sea.

This is a great place to stay, and very unique in that it is also a working vineyard. It was clear to us that the family who own it really put their heart and soul into running it well.

This is a winery as well as an agritourismo. If you like wine you get to sleep amongst the vineyards and the view of the sea is spectacular. Everyone is super friendly. Really a first rate place and experience.

We have only had two days at Poggio dei Gorleri and already we love the place. Super friendly family run business, with a great kitchen! The little restaurant has a terrific view over the sea and the pool is glorious! The apartments are only four years old, well equipped and arranged. There is a nice mixture of couples, families and dogs too!!

Room tip: A two bedroom apartment is advisable for a family of four - with dog!
