This stop has been the highlight of our Italy tour! We were warmly met by Ute. She gave us tips on things to see and places to shop and eat. She left us some wonderful breads and fruits. The home was so comfortable with different Mountain View’s out of every window. We are trying to see as many things as we can in our two weeks in Italy. If we are able to make it back we have decided that we want to spend much longer next time. We would most definitely stay with Ute again. She was a perfect hostess. We highly recommended this home!
This accmmodation could not have been better ! Surrounded by 360 degrees of beautiful scenery, we could have sat on the balcony and takin in the views for the whole week. But we did go out and found plenty to do, despite being between winter and summer seasons - cable cars, hiking and fabulous restaurants filled our week.
The chalet was very comforatble, spacious and very well equipped. Ute was the perfect host, with plenty of friendly advice and information. The fruit, bread and beer on arrival was a lovely surprise.
All in all a fabulous week, and highly recommended.
Ute and her property made our trip to Cortina and the Dolomites one of the best experiences we have ever had. The unit itself is larger than it looks and is furnished with everything you could possible need. There are two balconies with views of the nearby mountains. She also has great mountain bikes, via Ferrata kits and hiking poles which we used alarmist every day. I highly recommend staying here!
We had a wonderful week in the appartment which has a great view on the montains. The appartment is very nice and there is also everything provided for doing ferratas and biking. Ute is a wonderful host making us feel very welcome. We plan to come back ....
We were a group of six 21-23 year olds travelling Europe for the summer, and the dolomite's was one of the things on our to do list. Cortina is a great region of the dolomites to stay in close to many of the most popular Via ferrata routes.
We were travelling on a budget however figured we'd treat ourselves to not camping for one week and man was it worth it! The price is only a few euro more expensive than camping per night and includes via ferrata kits + mountain bikes. The apartments, layout, decor and facilities are great too, a very homely flat with everything you could possibly need/want. Comfortable beds, a bath, nice TV, fast wifi.
Our host was great, very friendly and always on hand to give us advice and make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The flat was very clean and tidy upon arrival and included many books and leaflets about the area. and we were even treated to some complimentary food and drink which was a nice touch.
In summary the perfect place to kick back and enjoy an nice cold beer after a long day on the mountains :)
