We were driving through Civitavecchia with my lovely wife, and stopped by Porto to have a lunch before continuing our journey across the Tuscany. To us - this place is not just one of the best Italian Trattoria's (and we know how difficult to find a real valuable place). This place has its own style. We being served by Augusto, the place owner. Believe me or not, but this guy looks exactly like Stephen Fry, plus he has the same tone of voice - deep and absolutely convincing. Augusto slowly explained to us all nuances of Umbria and Lazio cuisine. The sun was shining through the restaurant windows, creating an perfect atmosphere of the real provincial Italy. The food was simply amazing.

Dined here in early December. Diners at 4 of the approximately 7-8 inside tables. This place must be overrun in the Summer. The owner was our waiter. House wine was VERY GOOD.
Sea food was purchased in the nearby town fish market only hours before. The owner brought
a selection of fresh fish out for viewing to assist with ordering. We were provided with a "comp" appetizer after we showed interest in what other diners were enjoying. My linguine with clams had two times the number of calms I saw in other restaurants. Seafood risotto was PERFECT. Remember-NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED!

We can't say enough about this restaurant, its owners, and the food... We came several nights in a row, and every dish we tried was wonderful. A peaceful atmosphere only enhances the food experience- try this place and you'll never forget it!!!!

Nice little trattoria on the oceanfront promenade. We had fried Zucchini flowers which were the biggest I ever have seen, pasta with seafood and local white wine. Deliziozo

Trying not to give too many "excellent" ratings - but considering we usually visit the recommended from TA - we expect most to be worthwhile. This is one of the great recommendations. We arrived in Civitavecchia a couple of hours before we needed to catch the ferry to Barcelona & headed to this restaurant we had read the good reviews. We we the first there before it opened. The owner greeted us pleasantly & gave us menu's whilst they prepared the tables. I can only say - well worth the wait. Excellent quality food from the seafood through to the steak - all fresh, perfectly cooked & very, very tasty. This is a small place with just a few tables out the front whilst the inside had none from what we could see. Also we could not see the name - but found it from the address amidst the other restaurants along the front. The owner was also a gentleman with a relaxing attitude & warm smile - if you find yourself in the area - well worth checking out.
