Castiglione Della Pescaia is a seaside resort, and Lucerna is a seaside hotel. But its rather a good one.
The staff were very helpful both with my Italian and had very good English. Your first impression is one of general smartness, and a well kempt air. And this is maintained throughout. There are lots of nice touches in the lobby area and the hall ways with subtle lighting and littles touches of though through interior design. It has an extra something. The rooms are clean ours largish and apart from rather smallish (although good showers) the bathrooms were fine. The hotel is very competitively priced. Parking is secure and there are free bikes (and plenty of places you can use them). We came back late and had a tea in the lobby which was no trouble.
This is a good hotel, has a decent buffet breakfast not a silly little coffee and croissant thing. It can handle kids and adult parties. Its not on the sea front but literally its the other side of the square from it. Definitely a place for you to consider. I would stay there again, no question.More
