We ate lunch at Dionsio Bistrot and enjoyed it so much that we thought we would try their dining establishment. We were not prepared for how fancy this was. It is down a dark street and then downstairs into what appears to be a very large restaurant in a beautiful setting. Service was excellent. There are some set menus and also ala carte. We did not want the quantity of food in the set menus so we just ordered on our own.
First courses - Lamb carpaccio, bacon tart, spaghettone
Second courses - Quail, fusilli, stuffed tortellini
Everything was good but seemed the antithesis of what one expects from Italian cuisine which is simple ingredients made to shine. If you are looking for a special occasion kind of place in Benevento, this is it.
