We stayed here for 5 nights, and it was a great haven, quiet and peaceful, after Venice. We had a suite which overlooked the pool. The suite was spacious. Caterina breakfasts are amazing, and worth the stay on their own...fresh tortes, cakes everyday...the buffet breakfast is a highlight.
Lu Pastriccialeddu is close enough to restaurants and amenities in the surrounding Arzachena area, and only 10 minutes to the beach.
If we returned to Sardinia we would certainly be staying here again.

The grounds and the buildings with the pool in the centre are really attractive. The location is good, away from the busy towns but close to the coast. The service wasn't very attentive. When we explained that the directions on the hotel's website were completely wrong the receptionist offered no apology or explanation. The room was fairly dark and basic but pleasant and extremely quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was great and the outdoor seating area very pleasant.

Dear Sir,
thank you for your pointing our attention on the wrong direction on the web site.
We only fully understood the mistake after reading your review, we checked and we found out that, for some technical reasons unknown to us, the google map was giving the wrong position for our B&B. We also contacted the tour operator and found out that they were writing the wrong coordinate on the client’s voucher, thank to your review we have now fixed everything. We apologize for not understanding the problem strait away, but we had never had that problem before and we could not imagine anything like that.
Upon arrival, as usual, we did our best to make you comfortable, if you let us know that the room was not to your complete satisfaction at least the day after, we could have considered a room change. Sorry not to have been able to fully meet your expectations, we thank you for your stay at our B&B hoping that you will choose us again in the future.

A Country Idyll

We stayed here for three days and loved so much that we returned three weeks later! Set in glorious rocky countryside our bedroom looked out over the hills. Caterina & Paolo were so special to know. Caterina's breakfasts are legendary & for good reason. Caterina was also extremely helpful re where to eat, swim (at the coast 10 minutes away) and walk. Every person working with Caterina & Paolo were warmly welcoming. We would love to stay there again

Room Tip: This is not a hotel. It is a wonderful b & b

Lived up to the hype. Provided a welcome break from busy coastal resorts. My young daughter loved exploring the area befriending local donkeys and tortoises. And as per many other reviewers, I loved the breakfast.

Lu Pastruccialeddu is set in an idyllic location amongst olive and oak groves, surrounded by granite mountains and braying donkeys! The accommodation is very tastefully decorated and the pool/outdoor lounge facilities are excellent. Breakfasts are a real treat! Catarina's pastry skills are incredible. I don't think I've ever tasted such wonderful quiches and cakes! Location wise, Lu Pastruccialeddu is perfect for exploring the Costa Smeralda. We enjoyed fantastic day trips to the Archipelago di Maddelena and beaches south of Porto Cervo.
We did struggle in the heat without air conditioning, particularly at night time. The room had a decent fan, but little cool air when temperatures are so high. The staff were mostly welcoming although there were a couple of instances where we were spoken to quite abruptly.
