We went for lunch and initially we were happy with the friendly service. The starter was served and we both found it delicious. However the main course was served and the French fries (chips) were not served. When we asked where they were we were told they would be ready in a few mins. 30 mins later we had finished the food and still no Chips. We asked for the bill and about 10 mins later the waiter came back and asked us if we still wanted the chips!!! We did eventually get the bill but it took a long time and we left feeling annoyed at the service.

This is a Gold mine in Anzio. Very fresh and tasty food at an optimal
price. The local wine goes very well
with the food. A must try.

We went for the evening to Anzio from Pomezia, so that we can have a look at Anzio harbour and to find a good restaurant to eat fish, Anzio if full of fish restaurants. This restaurant did not disappoint. We were a family of five, four of us took the 22 Euro fixed menu (3 courses plus dessert and wine, and our youngest daughter had the 18 euro menu (2 courses plus dessert and wine). We thoroughly enjoyed every portion. For starters we were given a taste of all the four dishes, all amazing - the mussels were so fresh and so were the fried fish, etc. Pasta was also very good, then for mains we had the frittata - calamari and shrimps fried, with salad and potatoes, - my daughter had the grilled fresh fish, also very fresh. It was so abundant and we ate so much that we could not finish off our mains. Then we had a lemon sorbet and a coffee.. I highly recommend this restaurant, the food was really delicious and fresh, and at a good price. If I ever visit Anzio again, myself and my family will surely eat again at this restaurant.

At the port of Anzio (perhaps arriving or departing to Ponza Island), is easy to be seduced by the eateries that are along the pier. But if you know the existence of this restaurant, which is not far (just a few steps from the very central square "Piazza Pia"), and specifically you head there, you probably will have a positive experience, as it happened to us.
As the name implies, the restaurant specializes in seafood, and all inclusive menus are available, in addition to individual plates. We tried both, and everything was good or excellent: fresh grilled tuna steak, paccheri (large macaroni) with fish sauce, risotto with seafood ("alla pescatora"), fried shellfish ...
Due to its central location, the property is well suitable even by those traveling by boat or train.
To recommend.

We visited the place with big family, including two small children. Food was nice, but service was so rude! Even though i spoke italian, with the polites way the waiter was arrogant. I will not return as the ok food was not worth it!
