We are just back home (Switzerland) from our holiday in Italy, and we have been staying at the Meripol hotel. It has been a more than pleasant staying, especially for the amazing food that they were serving us. Everyday a new menu, always good and tasty, with meals typical of the region.

The staff was also very friendly, and the hotel was clean and well kept.

The location was optimal. Perfect place for resting and for enjoying the perfect Italian summer!

This hotel is off the usual list for UK travellers, but popular with Italians [families]. We met people who had been visiting the hotel for 30 years. That's some recommendation!
Hotel facilities are very good, with an outdoor pool and access to a bank of loan bicycles. There is a designated bicycle/walking route along the coast which runs for miles in both directions from outside the hotel. The area along the coast is clean and feels very safe, with families promenading along the front during the evenings as well as in the daytime.
The hotel has a large dining room on the first floor but breakfasts are served on the ground floor near Reception and the pool. We were half board for our 4 night stay and the food was very good. Evening meals were 3x courses plus a salad buffet. Meals were chosen from a wide range of foods given on a menu the night before. Fish, meat and strict vegetarian diets were catered for.
There are numerous shops, cafes, ice cream parlours and restaurants close by. There is also a small supermarket close by. [Turn right out of the rear of the hotel and head for the post office, it's on road to its left]. It is also a good base to visit some historic sites quite close by - Eg. Tortoreto Alto and Tronto - Roman Fort

Was there as part of an accompanied tour. Fabulous food beautifully presented by friendly staff. Large rooms with balconies, very comfortable beds. The best hotel I have stayed in in Italy. And the beach is just a few yards away.

This hotel cannot put a foot wrong if it tried. From the moment we arrived by tour bus we were welcomed by the family who run and own here.Friendly beyond fault.Food is spectacular, rooms are good and spacious, clean well aired comfortable beds.Great powerful shower in the rooms.Air conditioning is good.Only problem is that internet is not great in bedrooms but it is free and works well around reception.
Perfectly situated right across the road from the beach. They even have their own private beach with free sunbeds and sun shades for guests!!
Nothing is a problem to the family who run here!!!

We were at the Meripol for four nights as a group of Irish Pilgrims
The rooms are lovely all with balconies spotlessly clean
The dining room is very well run by expert and very courteous staff
and the food was delicious with a great choice of food Their pasta dishes are just excellent as are the main courses of fish or meat There was also a huge salad buffet and plenty of choice for desert and fresh fruit Compliments to the chef
The hotel has a lovely beach across the road with free umbrellas and chairs and the sea was so clean and refreshing
The Meripol Hotel is family run so there is great attention to detail
Thank you for the great time we had in your hotel

Room Tip: Upper floor for the best views over the sea
