I was part of a coach group so our guide was already arranged and we didn't need to queue. It seems to get busier as the day progresses, so getting there early is probably best. Also it is very hot, so take an umberella if you can and definitely wear a hat! There is a fair amount of walking and it is at times on uneven surfaces so sensible shoes are best. It is definitely worth seeing!

There were only five of us and our tour guide Manuela was incredibly informative explaining the transition in practices from the roman/greek times through to 4th century AD. The opportunity to move underground was a welcome respite from the heat too.

Great site yo visit a few temples all in one go. Parking is close by. We had problems with lines anywhere. Just watch out it is very little shade and quite a bit of walking to do.

Need to pre-purchase tickets, and be in the queue for the car park first thing in the morning, before it opens. Otherwise you’ll wait over an hour just to park. Then another hour to get a ticket.

Beautiful Valley of Temples with easy self walking discovery .We visited sight in the morning it was not busy with group of tourists because park was closing at 11am for Dolce and Gabbana evening fashion show. Recommended visit time at list two hours a lot of private parking place.
