I guess this is a case of lost in translation but the accommodation is under the owners' residence, not above, and is a converted agricultural space (wine producing)
We did not get to meet Betty, but Lorenzo is a charming man and speaks quite good English and was very helpful. The area is stunningly beautiful and quiet - if you don't mind barking dogs and the odd cockerel. The room is partially divided by two structural walls each about 4 metres wide and is much bigger overall than appears in the photos, but windows are either small or obscured by trees so lighting was inadequate..Unfortunately the size of the room also contributes to the main problem we encountered - when the weather is not very hot, it is too cold and we needed to use the wood burning stove in the evening, even in June.. Consequently the bed and our clothes always felt slightly damp. The kitchen was well equipped with a huge American style fridge freezer and there is plenty of storage and of course a sense of space. Wifi could be improved.
