We like to try different restaurants, so decided to try lunch at this pub. We were pleasantly surprised by the interior decor. Plenty of seating and clean. Unfortunately, things went downhill fast.

Very poor service. The waitress was the worst--dour, unhelpful and incompetent (or else she just didn't care). She took our drink order and when she delivered them, we asked if we could have some sweetener for our iced tea. She nodded, but never returned. We waited a good 10 minutes before flagging her down as she appeared to be "hanging out" in what we soon learned was her favorite corner. She brought the sweetener without a word and again retreated without taking our order. We got her attention (again in the corner "resting"). When the order was delivered it was literally plopped on the table and she was off again. Again flagged her out of her corner to ask for some ketchup. She again nodded and returned to her corner. A few minutes later the folks at the table next to us left. She emerged long enough to grab the ketchup bottle from their table and plop in onto ours. Unfortunately for us, it was covered with ketchup, which soon was all over my hands. Very appetizing, indeed. I did not bother to flag her out of the corner again for another napkin, instead getting up to grab one off a nearby empty table. She watched with disinterest.

The food was just okay...nothing special. The waitress never approached us to offer drink refills or dessert. She cleared the table without a word and brought the check. We were shocked when she said "Would you like anything else?" It was amusing, since not to many folks order more food/drinks AFTER the table's cleared and the waitress in picking up the check...It was particularly amusing when she added "Well I hope you have a nice day!" Needless to say, that wasn't enough to convince us to leave a decent tip.

There was no evidence of any manager or person in charge, so we quietly left without a word. We will not give this place a second chance.

Always lots of people and lots of fun. Varied menu with all dishes well prepared. One of our favorites and regular stops.

Nicely decorated Irish style pub. We were seated promptly and politely. Our server was very good. We shared a Baked Brie for appetizer that was good, but pricey. I had their Clancy's Red Rueben, which was O.K., not great. The portion size was decent, but a very skimpy portion of meat in the sandwich.

The online website menu price is two dollars less than the menu in the restaurant.

Full bar. Overall it was just OK and very pricey for what it was.

I visited with friends and had a wonder cider on tap with baked cod that was fresh, flaky with the best mashed potatoes I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner or lunch. They have good-sized portions and the service is attentive. You may have to wait a little longer for your food if it is busy, but you can enjoy the nice atmosphere of a close to authentic pub while you wait. The bread is also good. (Soda bread?) The only recommendation I have is that they make the house dressing less watery. I will visit again.
