“Spanish Bliss !”
Reviewed 5 September 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We spent a week at Casa Deogracias at the beginning of June and cannot wait to return.
The villa is modern, beautifully furnished and fully equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday.
There is ample outside furniture with plenty in the shade for when it gets too hot.
We spent many nights BBQ'ing and dining alfresco, enjoying the lovely sunsets and views.
The pool is a good size, large enough to swim in and not just for a quick dip to cool down.
The villa included a good selection of dvd's and books, a sound system and the tv had lots of channels to watch.
When we arrived it was spotlessly clean, had lots of towels and spare bedding.
There are a number of pretty 'Pueblo Blancos' near by for trying the local cuisine.
The nearest town Sedella is a short drive or lovely 15min walk away where you will find a couple of restaurants/bars and a small shop for necessities.
We stocked up on the way to the villa at Velez Malaga's large hypermarket where you will find everything you need and more.
Valez Malaga is only a 20min drive away and has a large number of restaurants, bars and shops for all your needs.
Close to the villa are a number of beautiful nature reserves which are a treat to go walking through.
The nearest beach is located at Torres Del Mar, which is a typical spanish resort and has lots of chiringuito's where you can enjoy delicious, fresh seafood.
Maria was a pleasure to deal with, and special mention to Jan and Rob who look after the villa and are only a phone call away if you have any problems/queries.
Thanks for a lovely holiday!

“absolute bliss.”
Reviewed 30 October 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We have stayed twice at Cass Deogracias, simply because the location is stunning and the villa is stylish and comfortable. It's high up in the mountains, and you feel completely away from it all. If you want company, Sedella is 10 minutes away, and Competa, 20. We do a big shop in Velez Malaga on the way from the airport up to the villa , as the kitchen is spacious and modern and a joy to cook in. One of the main things we love about the villa is that the decor and furnishings are stylish, not tired and boring as you get in many villas. The booking couldn't be easier, and Maria always replies promptly. If you want some isolation, stunning scenery, a real escape, this is the place.

“Fantastic Villa in a beautiful part of Spain”
Reviewed 6 October 2013 for a stay in June 2013

Beautiful villa with stunning views of Andulusia and close to two very authentic Spanish towns, this is the real Spain and not the typical tourist trap. The Villa had all the home comforts required and a few more, very good wireless internet, very large flat screen LCD TV for the colder evenings and other little touches like the coffee machine ( we liked it so much we bought one on return to England). The Villa is very spacious with excellent outside space including a good quality gas BBQ which we used nearly every day as we enjoyed staying in the Villa so much we only ate out a few evenings even though the restaurants near by were very good and extremely reasonable. The whole process was very good from the initial booking to the meet and greet and the whole team who look after the villa are excellent, never seen a gardener work so hard. Thank you for the use of the Villa, hopefully we will return one day.

“A lovely house for a blissful holiday”
Reviewed 19 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We have just enjoyed a fantastic holiday at Casa Deogracias and are delighted to say that it was even nicer than it already looks on the website. From the start to the finish everything was perfect. .
Yes, the road up to Sedella is windy but it is a delightful drive through the stunning National Park. Considering it's only an hour from the airport, the sense of peace and tranquility, let alone the amazing view from the huge pool, is well worth the drive.. As a bonus you can even see the Med through the hills in the distance.
The house itself is clean and unfussy in a very tasteful way, with every modern convenience you could need. Huge American style fridge ( very useful if, like us, you don't want to have to stock up more than absolutely necessary and waste valuable holiday time!), and a great entertainment system with loads of Blu rays/ DVDs for those nights you don't want to go out to eat. The local villages (quintessential "Pueblo Blancos") are not far way, when you do want to visit a local restaurant .
A special mention must go out to Jeanne & Rob who look after the place. They bent over backwards to make sure we had a great experience, and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was almost like having our very own concierge service!
All in all we could not recommend Casa Deogracias more highly.

“Lovely villa, great scenery and very relaxing”
Reviewed 13 September 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Villa is lovely. There are gardens and terraces on all sides, all completely private and well furnished so we were able to sit out all day moving from sun to shade as necessary. It was great having a pool big enough to swim lengths in and the views of La Maroma from the pool and veranda are fantastic.
The evenings in early May were a bit cool so we took advantage of the wood burning stove while we made use of the satellite TV, DVD player, surround sound system and t'internet.
Restaurants in both Sedella and Canillas de Aceituno were very good and great value for money.
Would love to stay here again.
