This caravan site is one of the friendliest that I have ever stayed on. The staff and owners will go the extra mile, especially Steff and Graham. Small shop in site office selling very basic goods. Horam village has a range of shops to cater for most needs and the local butcher has quality meats. The Lakeside Cafe is great for breakfasts and lunches. Don't miss Sunday lunch either. All in all a super base to explore the stunning local countryside. Don't think, just book it. You will love it.

We stayed here camping for 5 nights in August, a warm friendly and efficient welcome on arrival.
Our pitch was number 198 which had the sun from morning to evening ample room for our 4 man tent and car, to be fair most pitches do. The site is well maintained and clean within walking distance to the village of Horam which has everything you may need. There is a pub 5 min walk away which sells good ales and very nice food. On site there is a small shop at reception that sells the basics food wise and some camping emergency gear, pegs, gas etc.
The site boasts fishing lakes, nature trail, horse riding. It has a small children's play park and a very clean and well maintained shower block, washing machine and dish washing facilities.
The on site bar/café/restaurant was reasonably priced and although only used for one breakfast served good food. It had a singer on the Sunday evening we were there and they do a Sunday lunch and BBQ evening in high season. Perhaps best to book, they also have an off licence type facility.
The site is well within driving distance of all the attractions East Sussex has to offer.
The site is dog and kiddie friendly, never saw one owner not adhering to the rules of leads, or any dog poo. The 8am and 10:30pm no noise curfew was treated with respect by fellow campers, even those with teenagers and very young children.
But most impressively after an over night thunder storm the ground drainage was excellent.
I would definitely recommend this site and will return if ever in the area again. A very friendly well run site.
Happy camping.

Thankyou for your lovely review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Also, that you sampled some of the local shops & cafes. Our staff ensure that all of our guests adhere to our Quiet Time policy,we find this is much appreciated. We also have strict guidelines for dogs and are pleased that dog owners are respectful of these.

My partner and myself decided to go on our first camping trip and stayed at Horam Manor Touring Camp for one night.
Having checked in and been given information on the site and facilities by the very friendly reception staff, we were allocated a great pitch.
Being our first time, we were asked if we needed help with anything (which we politely declined as we wanted to pitch and get set up on our own). We got set up, had some drinks and food in the nice cafe / restaurant. It has a bar and places to sit in and out and look down on the lake.
We were very impressed with all the facilities on site alongside the polite and very friendly staff.
We enjoyed it so much, that we are going back for 2 x nights in a couple of weeks to gain more experience and enjoy the outdoors.
Really looking forward to going back there :-)

We had a great stay here in August with our 4 grandchildren, they enjoyed the freedom of the park so much. The children's play area is great and the surrounding area with horses and wildlife nearby is lovely. But I think what makes this place a success and a nice holiday is the staff. They all work tirelessly to keep the standards at such a level, I've never seen a cleaner touring park and are a great team. The site was very busy without being noisy and all the facilities worked perfectly. Excellent shower and toilet facilities. The fishing is superb. Internet and phone signal in this area does struggle.

Thankyou for your lovely review. We are pleased that our efforts didn't go unnoticed,we do try! Unfortunately certain networks sometimes do have problems due to the park being in a rural area. Our staff are always on hand to offer help if needed.

What can I say that others haven't already mentioned about this site, Top Quality site. I was allocated pitch 7 with was just perfect for us. No kids with us but it was great to see them playing safe around the site, but come 10pm, you could hear a pin drop...Two shower blocks, can only comment on the one near me which was very clean at all the different times of the day I used it. Lots to see and do on the notice board plus the staff was helpful to when my wife needed and nice 10 mile run. Pub just down the road for a pint, but we went to the Gun pub about ten minute drive for evening dinner on our last night. For those that want to visit to coast, your looking at about 50 minute drive to all of them which we went to. You dog lovers out there, no worries here, they have a big open field and the trail if your up for it. Overall top Quality site, and would I come back ? for sure I will be.
