We have just arrived back from this simply wonderful villa. 5 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, loads and loads of space, swimming pool, bbq, football, I could go on.
There were 10 adults and we all just loved it so much. Just around the corner from Chateau Soulac where we attended the best wedding ever!!!
Thankyou so much and we will be visiting again
We stayed here for a local wedding, the house was full with 10 adults. Its a great house with lovely outside areas for eating and relaxing in. Deanne was great to deal with.
It is quite impossible to say how much we enjoyed our summer stay at Villa Edith. From the moment we walked through the door it was just incredible with our welcome pack of local wine, freshly ground coffee, french cakes and much needed tea - the attention to detail in every room from the linen, towels, games and glossy magazine was thoughtful and appropriate. The children excitedly explored the house and outdoor space and were delighted to see the sandpit, trampoline, climbing frame, football goals and beautiful swimming pool surrounded by lavender. It was the perfect private space to escape. Thank you Deanna. We walked through the vineyards to the little village of Juliiac. We visited all of the places you recommended in the welcome book and were not disappointed. The wonderful Glass House for tea at Chateau Carbonneau, swimming in Lac du Garson, the pizza place at Gensac, the riverside cafe at Pessac where we hired bikes and kayaked along the river. For so many reasons, we will never forget this summer. Thank you for the time and space we needed. TC6 xxxxxx
Directions given from villa were not too clear from Bordeaux airport, we got lost several times!! Lovely approach, and we were not disappointed with the Villa. Tastefully decorated, very comfortable furnishings and a homely feel to it.
Beds were extremely comfortable with beautiful linen. We had good weather so we ate outside (breakfast was delivered every morning), and the kitchen was very well equipped. We loved staying here it was totally relaxing. Garden and pool were an added bonus.
We had a family wedding at the chateau nearby, which was walkable, very convenient.

I rented this villa for a family holiday with my three grown up children, their spouses, two grandchildren and a dog. It was a long drive down from the Eurotunnel, but my goodness it was worth it. We had such a wonderful time. The villa was beautiful; unbelievably stylish and elegant and yet it catered magnificently for the children too.
We had great trips out, kayaking down the Dordogne, Bordeaux, wine tasting tour in Saint Emilion. day at the beach in Archeron. Fun around the very spacious grounds at the Villa; in the pool, on the trampoline or just sitting on the vine covered patio.
Nothing else will be good enough after sampling Villa Edith.
