“Beautiful period house with modern day comforts and surrounded by the Broads and handy for the coast”
Reviewed 10 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

After travelling most of the day it was wonderful to walk straight into such a welcoming and romantic place to stay. There was a generous welcome pack which included a homemade loaf and eggs from the owners' chickens as well as other handy items and after a quick cup of tea we had a good look around our place to stay and we're delighted with our choice. A real Christmas tree twinkled in the comfortable but elegant sitting room and the roll top bath as well as the gorgeous wet room were to die for ! The location was relaxing and peaceful with plenty of walks and local sites to visit . Our favourite outing was to Waxham to see the local seal population and have a bracing walk along the sandy beach. It was a much welcome break and we will going back again !

“Pamela and Gareth Thomas”
Reviewed 26 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

The Geogian farm house was just perfect for a couple who require first rate facilities and a little luxury. We loved the up to date wet room, the well equiped kitchen ( including some special treats courtesy of the owners ). The huge bedroom contained a large bed ( with electric blanket ) and a free standing bath within the bedroom. We spent some very cosy nights in the very comfortable sitting room with wood fire, comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV.
The farm setting was absolutely gorgeous and one could see for miles across the beautiful Norfolk countryside.
The on site owners were very attentive ( without being intrusive ) and always helpful. It was very clear that the property had been created with much love and care.
Ludham village was close by with a pub and a handy convenience store.
We are frequent travellers and would definitely return to Lime Farm

“Beautiful Romantic Cottage”
Reviewed 15 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Limes Cottage is a gem of a find and perfect for a romantic retreat. The cottage is tastefully furnished, freshly decorated and very clean throughout. We received a lovely warm welcome from Lynne even though we were very late arrivals. There was a generous welcome pack including freshly laid eggs and the most delicious home baked bread. The garden was spacious with seating and BBQ facilities for alfresco dinning. The cottage contained lots of information on the area, there is lots and lots to do. You have everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The owners are quite concious about protecting the environment and politely encourage this ethos. The location was perfect for exploring our interests in Norfolk. We enjoyed visiting the National Trust Properties Blickling Hall and Fellbrigg. Strumpshaw Steam Museum and Thursford Steam Museum. The Motor Museum at Caister by the sea was also great, not to forget to mention Fish & Chips at Cromer. Only a few miles from the cottage is The Old Vicarage at Rushton the garden there is fabulous. The birdlife on the broads is amazing. I have no problem recommending this cottage you will not be dissapointed.

“Stunning holiday rental!”
Reviewed 31 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

This Georgian style property is gorgeous. The living room feels so spacious and bright due to the high ceiling and big windows on either side. The bedroom with bath is lovely. Very romantic, even at our age!! Dave and Lynne, the owners made us feel very welcome and the welcome pack that they provide is brilliant. You receive homemade bread, milk, juice, cake and fresh eggs from their own chickens. Yummy! We had a great week in Norfolk exploring the lovely beaches and countryside. Definite plus to this property is that there is an interconnecting door to the farmhouse next door. Our daughter, husband and granddaughter were staying next door which meant that we had our own space but could also all be together any time we wanted. We will definitely be returning.
