“excellent for adventure holidays camps”
Reviewed 14 December 2014 for a stay in July 2014

we had our cyclotourism summer camp there: we felt extraordinary and we loved the restaurant team of ladies! Ask for Bogdan or Raluca when you call for reservations... they will do their best for giving you smart recommendations!

Liked best: view, architecture, food and warmth of members of the team
Liked least: breakfasts... they gave us only food for kids, which is not that tasty :)

“Just perfect”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Just came back from a short 2-days stay at Satul Prunilor during a team building which I organized here for some colleagues.
We loved the place, the villas are just perfect, they don't lack anything you might need to feel good here, the rooms are cozy, decorated with taste, but also very practical. The kitchen is equipped with anything you might need if you wish to self-cater.
If not, the restaurant serves delicious natural food, large portions and all done in-house which adds and extra flavor :)

The area is beautiful, with splendid views of the mountainous area nearby (30 km to Sinaia), the morning air is crisp and clear, besides the guests' cars, you won't see or hear any other cars to bother you.
The atmosphere is tranquil, nobody bothers you, the resort is well-taken care of, everything has its place and is well maintained.

I truly recommend the villas if you are looking for a cozy, out-of touristy area place to spend some time relaxing with friends in a natural environment.
If at some point the owners decide to also build a small pool with a lounge area for sunny days, I believe this could become one of the best holiday resorts in Romania.

“Perhaps the best holidays location in south of Romania in an excellent setting”
Reviewed 22 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Satul Prunilor is located on a hilltop at 700 meters altitude, not too far from the more famous mountain resort of Sinaia and is surrounded by plum trees (from where the name of the place comes - ”The village of the plum trees”). The vue to the nearby mountains, raising at 2000-2500 meters, is breathtaking. The place is somehow remote and this ensures plenty of silence and fresh air. The villas are spacious and the landscape can be admired through the large windows and glass doors. The place is suited for families with children, as all the areas are non-smoking (it would be a shame to smoke in such a fresh air!) and children have plenty of room to play in the grass and under the plum trees.

Liked best: The services and the position of the villas
Liked least: The absence of a fully-fledged restaurant. However, meals are offered upon request and based on specific orders made in advance.

“Great place to relax and recharge your batteries in any season”
Reviewed 3 December 2013 for a stay in November 2013

Wonderful place to go and stay with friends and/or family. Each villa is decorated with a lot of good taste and inside you can find all you need for the days you stay there.
They have wi-fi internet conection and TV cable television. I also apreciate the barbeque place for each villa.
If you want to be sure that you reach there I recommend to use the gps coordinates posted on theyrs website: http://www.satulprunilor.ro/index.php/ro/contact-menu

“AMAZING VIEW”

The staff is nice, amazing landscape, authentic local architecture. Are necessary some improvements:the bed creak loud at every move,no restaurant,no breakfast,in the yard were many stray dogs that have overturned garbage bin during the night and in the morning we woke up surrounded by garbage. There is no possibility of mountain activities like mountain biking, horseback riding, rafting, trekking,ATW driving. It would be good to have flyers with local map , points of interest and access. The property is not on Booking.com which is a disadvantage because is not enough promoted.

Liked best: The authentic architecture and the amazing lanscape
Liked least: The fact that inside the village were no restaurant and the stray dogs.Someone build a restaurant outside the village but was not open and was a archiectural kitsch.
