Our family of 5 stayed at Karen & Glen's lovely villa in the summer of 2015. The villa itself has a rustic feel with exposed stone but with all the modern amenities. we would have the doors and windows open and there was always a great breeze through the house. We ate breakfast on the patio every morning after picking up a fresh baguette from the boulangerie in town (10 minutes walk). The town itself is perfect - charming restaurants, a beautiful river to swim in, great kayaking, short drives to some great hikes and caves. We were truly able to relax and enjoy the small town vibe and atmosphere.
We stayed at Maison de Farine for three weeks in July. The house is beautifully done, filled with charming antiques from the region and all the amenities you could ask for. Set in the picturesque village of Roquebrun, you can walk to the river for a swim or kayaking. If you just want to stay by the pool at the house you can lounge with your glass of rose. Karen and Glenn are wonderful hosts. I would recommend this perfect vacation spot to anyone visiting the area.
