Sign said wifi but on further inquiry cost $1 to use. Sigh. I get it, it's a dollar and they need to make money but really? What's the problem everyone is down loading movies in the parking lot?...
Ordered a panini and it took forever. Went and inquired twice and they informed us the precious customer had ordered hash browns!....I guess that's a problem.
Anyway ate the food with the previous customers dirty dishes stacked at the side of our table.
Local geriatric bikers were smoking on the patio. I would not stop at this place again. Maybe across the street....

It has almost been a year since we stopped here and I still can't get the experience out of my head. My wife and I were on our first-ever summer holiday. The first stop we made along the way was at this establishment in Rock Creek. The last time I had been in this community was when I was a boy so this was a nice, funky and rustic looking place worth checking out...or so I thought. Once inside we looked around and I decided to use the wifi. They charge $2.00 for the password. I thought that was okay, so I waited for someone to take my money. In the meantime the lady behind the counter served everyone except me. I wasn't too sure what was going on and even a younger member of staff behind the counter shrugged her shoulders at me as if to say she didn't know what was happening, either. I'm a normal looking mid-50 Canadian born white guy. We also wanted some coffee and a snack. Anyway, my wife left after seeing the service didn't include us and I eventually left as well. We won't stop here again. Sorry.

Love this eclectic spot with free trade coffee and handmade items from Guatemala. Perfect little stop while you're traveling, to stretch your legs and grab a drink & / or snack. There's even a trail nearby to take a little hike if you want to take a longer break.

Friendly staff. Homemade baking, soups and panninis. They roast their own coffee every day. Worth a stop!
