Description: Our restaurant has more than 100 years. We have followed of four generations, all animated by the passion for the ancient tradition of Piedmont cuisine. The Piedmont cuisine has its roots in peasant culture, made of simple ingredients, but genuine and rich in many valuable products, thanks to the particular geography of the Piedmont region, which contains within it, lakes, hills, mountains, rice fields: from truffles, hazelnuts, the vines, the produce of the land allowed the Piedmont to assert its culinary tradition not only in Italy but also in the world.

I dined here as a guest of work colleagues who raved about the restaurant & now I know why! I loved it from the moment I walked in, from the wooden panelling to the decor on the walls, the polite & courteous waiters...not to mention the food - I tried local meats & salamis, the fritto misto, taglioni with a ragu sauce & grilled lamb cutlets with roasted potatoes with rosemary...delicious & i still had room for their zabbaglione which was 'created' by our table in an artistic frenzy of whisking eggs & alcohol...the result was amazing!

This restaurant is the place to be for all people who loves the Piedmont cuisine. They have everything starting from antipasti continuing with pasta (agnolotti worth a try) and meat. They pass with a try of boiled meat or cheese or why not dessert and you can choose in relation to your hungry

We return to this restaurant year after year and yet without the recommendation of a local friend, we would have never found it. The variety of dishes, the consistent high quality and the value for the money all in a beautiful and warm surrounding. You won't do better than this in the Torino area.

I regularly go to this restaurant with all family or as a couple. The service is very friendly and accurate. The food is amazing, with an infinite choice from a suite of local Piedmont entrees, warm and cold, to (many) first dishes encompassing pasta, soups and seasonal, continuing with second dishes with different selection of meats cooked in various ways. Or a trolley full of local Piedmont and Turin local cheeses, Or the very special dishes as the so called "mixed fried", that is a Turin's specialty and is served at all times along the year (but they have others too). Or the seasonal vegetables cooked the Piedmont way and depending on the type. Salads are also made with a composition of choice. The final dessert trolley is amazing. The wines, a selection of anything you may ask. Final liquor with herbs produced by the restaurant owners themselves. All foods are supplied by local farms, all is house made. The atmosphere is familiar, you won't feel abandoned, none is left behind there. Price? Affordable. Make sure you save a sober driver to go back home, or prefer a taxi. One word: unforgettable.
Note: I have been there for lunch or dinner over the last 16 years, the reported visit date is just the last one. I can be called quite a returning customer, going there 10 times a year minimum.

My friend, from Gassino, recommended this as a restaurant specializing in Piedmont cuisine. The waitress recommended starting with TEN starters (we agreed to 8) that come in reduced portion sizes (by Italian standards) so you can try many things. Then there was a choice of three pastas or risotto - you can try small portions of all or just what you like. There are two meat carts where they will slice off whatever meat you like (if you make it that far) and then there is a cheese cart with amazing selection of cheeses, a cake cart, and a cart where they will make zabaoine tableside. Large wine selection. Incredible portion sizes. Lots of families here and a great place for special occasions. There was such an amazing array of food and in such quantity it was nearly overwhelming - first time I have ever been intimidated by a meal! Everything was fresh, tasty and with high quality ingredients. Very memorable! Service was excellent as well.
