Akatsuki villa delivered us all the above three.
We were picked up by the manager jack from the airport and we reached the villa after a drive about 45 min & were warmly welcomed by the entire staff of 8 we were simply blown away by
Breathtaking architecture of Akatsuki as we step into this elegant Thai villa which is located on beachfront and offers a full panoramic view of enchanting Lipa Noi bay.
the villa has all sorts of modern amenities including a theatre room, television, surround sound system, spacious atrium area, infinity pool ,the beach in front of the villa the water is also very shallow, perfect for a lazy swim with lot of privacy .
the MAIN highlight of the villa is amazing staff including villa manager Jack, Asst Manager Ning,

We had the pleasure of spending 11 days at Akatsuki and felt at home from the first moment. All our wishes were accommodated for by the villa manager and the rest of the staff. The food was exceptional every day, we were not disappointed once. The architecture of the villa is extraordinary, the Japanese influence mixes well with the tranquility of Lipa Noi Beach. Special requests were tended to, massages, restaurants and other activities were arranged effortlessly.
My family celebrated my sister's 50th birthday at this resort. It is a resort which is lapped in luxury, we have the place to ourselves!! So it felt like a "home away from home". From the time we arrived into the airport, we were welcomed by Jack, the manager and were whisked into a large comfortable van to the place. Once we arrived, the thai hospitality was just so well received by all of us. The rooms are comfortable and designed with a lot of wood and influenced by japanese arcitecture! The only weakness i can think of was probably one or 2 rooms which did not have the beach facing and they could improve on the ventilation of the rooms.
The food cooked by the thai chef was ever so delicious and every day, we could request and discuss with Jack on what we liked to have in our meals! It really felt like as if we had a high class butler at home! He organised for us the outdoor activities which included hiring our own boat to go fishing, kayaking and the night market. We were there for 3 nights and it felt it was not enough! Jack also organised the birthday dinner and the dinner table was nicely and tastefully decorated and we ended the evening with lighting up the famous thai white lanterns into the sky! I would definitely recommend this place and love to go back there again!
We stayed at Akatsuki at the end of 2013 for 9 nights. It was by no doubt the best vacation we had as a family. The villa is very big and comfterble(we were 7 people). It looks exactly how it is displayed on the site and even better! It feels like they tought of everything, from the family cinema room, the luxurious pool to the kayaks on the beach. Jack and the lovely crew will ensure that all your needs are taking care and always with smile on their face.
The resort located on a quiet clean and beautiful beach!
I will defenetly recommend you to spend your next vacation at the Akatsuki resort!
To treat ourselves, I went with my girlfriends for a weekend getaway. Koh Samui was not the top choice of my preferred destination (chosen simply because very close from Singapore, only 1.5 hours) but the resort turned out be the top choice!
Beautifully designed buildings, authentic but stylish and high quality Thai food (e.g. green curry with Kobe beef!), best masseur I have ever met, very caring staff, the infinity pool... everything was only for us!
Since the whole resort was exclusively used by us, we could decide what we wanted to eat, to do, when and how, etc. Did not need to care about other guests or timings... It was like a comfortable home with everything perfectly and tastefully arranged. A real relaxation.
One thing I notice was a bit limited selection of drinks or snacks. When you ask, they can arrange for you very quickly but if you have only weekend like us, it is advised to request in advance before departure. They are very good and prompt in communicating e-mails.
It can be perfect for a family or with a couple of families as there are 5 villas to stay. I have not seen any kids activity area but the staff explained they will organize kids activities and look after them. It definitely is worth a try for the next weekend (or week) getaway.
