“Fantastic, relaxing holiday location”
Reviewed 30 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Perfect location, in an amazing part of Ireland, plenty to see and do. An absolute must is visiting Hook Lighthouse (800 year old operational lighthouse).
High Tide is a beautiful house overlooking the beach. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. All bedrooms have an en-suite for perfect convenience. The Wi-Fi has been upgraded so you can definitely still stay connected to the world no problems.
Perfect for a family holiday or just adults wanting to chill.
Well worth the money. Alice is great as she is next door, so is very responsive to any queries etc.

“Nice”
Reviewed 2 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Just spend a week here at a High Tide the place is listed as a house but it’s not this is an extension of the owners house so if you are looking for somewhere private this won’t give you that kind of space it’s very much open and the owners are around all the time which can be off putting. Although they were friendly we didn’t feel like the place was ours for the week,I rent properties every year and this was the first time I had this issue. Also there is a strict 6 person rule which wasn’t listed on TripAdvisor so be mindful if you invite anyone extra for a couple of nights... Or maybe run it by the owner before you arrive. The accommodation is nice with good size rooms and the Outside space is great with stunning views of the sea which was really nice especially as we had great weather. I would recommend this spot if you don’t mind the lack of privacy as the views are fabulous. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again as i didn’t feel comfortable with the owners around so often as I was afraid we were making too much noise etc and annoying them. If that doesn’t bother you then yes it’s a nice place with a Wonderful view.

“Amazing views over sea”

This really is an amazing house sitting on top of the beach. While the view is the main attraction the house itself is perfect. Three bedrooms all ensuite with comfortable beds & furniture. Alice has equipped it with all the essentials including a cot & highchair! Our 3 yr old loved our own entrance onto the beach & the big terrace, & there is a great playground 5 min walk away. Duncannon is a quiet spot & very welcoming. We were blessed with lovely weather but would still stay here outside the summer months as so much to do nearby. Its a great location to go on trips like the JFK trail(including a fab park) New Ross, Hook lighthouse & some lovely hidden beaches. We loved this house & hope to be back soon.
