“Life's a Beach”
Reviewed 14 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

2 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs and it's safe to say we all had a wonderful week here. The kids were so happy and the dogs loved the freedom. The views and beach access are everything. Looking out the large windows or from the elevated terrace, the view is stunning in all weather (and we had every type of weather) Listening to the waves crash as you dozed off at night was so relaxing. We went in September so place was quiet but there's a constant trickle of people walking the beach and all so friendly and welcoming. There's a couple of restaurants/bars and a large playground within walking distance. One of our children wouldn't be the greatest at travelling in the car but there is lots to do within 10-15 mins drive of Duncannon. We visited Hook Lighthouse where you can still get a tour to the top; Tintern Abbey and it's beautiful forest walks; Dunbrody Abbey has a large hedge-maze the kids loved and the JFK Arboretum is great for a day out too. Each with a nice coffee shop or a picnic area. Dollar Bay and Booley Bay are also worth visiting if you like a smaller beach all to yourself. Will be back and would recommend

We are just back from beach house having spent an amazing week with my family.
We're do I start? Firstly Alice the owner is such a fabulous person she really takes pride in her property which is just spectular. I believe its the best holiday home in duncannon!it was spotless , fully equipped with everything you d need and as for location its on the beach , you just climb down the spiral staircase onto the glorious sand!
Alice s house has a huge window looking out to sea. She has provided a rocking chair and footstool for your comfort and you can relax watching the waves and the occasional cruise ships come and go.!
Enough said I could nt recommend this property enough.it is truly a gem
Thank you Alice
