Description: Eyam Tea Room is a licensed Tearoom and provides a good Home Cooking approach aiming to meet a variety of tastes. We welcome cyclists, walkers and school groups both large and small. If possible to let us know that a large group is coming so that we can reserve your seats. We are dog friendly (dogs are welcome inside the Tearoom) and also welcome muddy boots and provide boot covers for you. We take bookings for evening meetings, Christening Teas, Hen Teas and Funerals as well as Birthday Teas all with an optional Vintage twist if requested! We also have requests for out side catering. Home cooked breakfasts, the larger 'Ramblers', and the smaller 'Muddy Boots', are available all day (until we stop cooking lunches at 3pm) also lunches and snacks. We look forward to meeting you.

We own a holiday cottage in the village and called in to Eyam tea room Thursday afternoon, it was so warm and cosy with the real fire, the food was delicious and the owners were lovely and friendly. So call in for a cuppa, a beer, cake, baguette, various hot meals....the list of homemade food on the menu fairly extensive and reasonably priced.

We will be back! Highly recommended.

We are locals and regularly visit this lovely tea room whilst out walking the dogs who are made most welcome and often treated to a sausage or something! Before Christmas we bought a couple of raffle tickets to benefit a local cause and we WON! Afternoon tea for two! Well today we decided to go and have it and what a treat it was. We were asked what we didn't like sandwich filling wise and then had a short wait whilst it was prepared. We were served huge pots of tea and then our "tea" arrived. Freshly made selection (egg mayo , ham , cheese and tom , chicken and mayo , tuna and cucumber ) on fresh squidgy bread, crisps , salad and creamy coleslaw! A large slice of delicious lime and ginger cake , each and last but not least a lovely fruit scone with jam and clotted cream!! We rolled out of there !! Can not beat the service the friendliness or the food , Fantastic , will keep coming back!!

Thank you so much for the most delicious peanut and caramel slice yesterday. Served with hot coffee in front of fire was just what we needed. Cyclists discount even better. We will be back, thank you!

Ha! ha! the caramel and peanut butter slice is very popular with our cycling friends - hopefully giving you all that last burst of much needed energy for these hills! It has been cold lately and so the log burner is appreciated as is the' Lycra Discount'!! (i.e. cyclists normally wear lycra so they get the discount). see you soon and thank you for writing the review, very best Fiona and Fran and the staff of Eyam Tearooms.

A really good tea shop with an excellent selection of sandwiches etc, delicious cakes and bright, clean decor. Very welcoming to all, including dogs who are offered their own biscuit! Unlike some cafes there is plenty of room for dogs and non dog people, so no one feels crowded out. Sitting outside in good weather, looking down over the village is lovely.....and there's always the ice cream sundaes!!

We are glad that you like the fairly wide selection on our menu, and that you felt dog owners were comfortable bringing their dogs into our Tearooms- there is normally plenty of room for all as you said and we have never had any problems caused by dogs- except comical and excessive tail wagging sending things flying and people unable to stop laughing!! Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. We hope to see you sometime soon, very best, Fiona and Fran and the staff of Eyam Tearooms.

What a brilliant cafe. A warm welcome, a warm fire and a comprehensive choice of food and drinks at reasonable prices. I have visited whilst walking, numerous times whilst cycling with my club mates, and even having driven out with my wife. Every time I have found the Eyam Tea Rooms to be one of my favourite cafes in Derbyshire. Give it a try ... You will not be disappointed.
