Booked this property as a base for the Isle of Wight Festival. So easy to get around, we loved Gurnard.
In fact love the Isle of Wight been to the festival before.
It's not too commercialised.
Loved this little cabin, beautifully kept and well equipped.. loads of little extra's .. lovely area everything you need in short walks ..
little moan ... microwave and a tv Ariel .. sorry I know you shouldn't need TV on holiday but !!!
Also Sea Views ??? If you positioned yourself tightly on the right of the top terrace you could just get a glimpse .. other wise loved it ...
We stayed in the beach house for 4 nights. We were expecting a lovely house from the photos on here, but we were suprised at how much better in "real life" it is. The house is immaculate and the children (11 and 7) had such fun exploring inside and out. I can find not one thing to complain about (maybe the weather!!) The small details in the decor are so lovely, the pictures around the lower floors especially i found interesting as seemed to be taken locally which added to the ambience.
As mentioned previously the internal stairs are very steep, i actually said it was more like a ladder but we had no issue either use outside decking or go down backwards, the children loved it!
the bedding and towels provided were very welcome and good quality. As were all the kitchen utensils. The DVD's and board games came in handy on the rainy days.
The local beach is lovely, the children had a good few hours playing there as well as the local park.
We walked into Cowes along coastal path which took around 20 mins.
We visited Godshill, what a beautiful village and we all enjoyed the model village.
We also had a sunny day at Sandown, the beach was glorious, the sea was perfect for the children to swim.
Can highly recommend a stay at the Boutique Beach House
Perfect spot and great little house, perfectly set up. 50 yds from beach so we can swim each day and easy cycle ride or walk to Cowes.
