We arrived at Sandymere late at night as it was a 3.5hr journey, We were staying in the front facing ground floor apartment with the hot tub. The apartment was spectacular, very clean and tidy with all amenities inside. The living room/ kitchen was a fantastic size and both the bedrooms of good size too. ( one double with en-suite and one twin room ). we sat on the balcony and watched a fantastic thunderstorm a few miles ahead of us.
We woke early in the morning, bright and early and used the hot-tub. Looking over the frosted glass fencing, we overlooked the caravan park and felt like lords of the manor. Everyone on the caravan park was friendly and it wasn't overcrowded.
Then took a short walk into Westwood Ho! . It was Bradfest that weekend so there was lots going on (If you are not aware Mr Braddick owns a majority of the businesses and caravan parks in Westward Ho!) We ate at the Pier house ( also owned by Mr Braddick ) great service and friendly atmosphere with lovely decking overlooking the sea.
Sandymere is a great place to stay. My only negativity is the main bedroom curtains are not blackout curtains, so the light comes pouring in as soon as the sun rises. This is not a problem for me, but maybe for others
