“Enjoyable 2 weeks in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 16 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Stayed in this charming gite with my husband and daughter and we all really relaxed. Our hosts were delightful and served us an excellent welcome meal. They shared their extensive local knowledge with us and directed us to some historic towns and villages where we had some memorable meals. The newly opened Salamander Cave was a real treat with theatrical lighting and an English speaking guide. We endured a heat wave for most of our stay so the pool was a welcome relief. The distant views from the bedroom and terrace were fantastic, especially during a huge electrical storm.

“Lovely break in the South of France in great location.”
Reviewed 24 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We had a great break at this property. Everything was very well appointed and we didn't want for anything. The owners, very kindly, provided us with a welcome pack but there are supermarkets and local French markets nearby. There are also lots of restaurants providing a great choice if don't feel like cooking.
We travelled with our daughter, who is 4yrs old and we spent time in our hire car visiting places such as Pont du Gard and the Ardeche region. We also had lunch in local Uzes, highly recommended.
The property is close to lots of airports and its possible to get to the coast, although we didn't on this occasion.
Whilst we couldn't use the pool (too cold at time of year) we had fun watching our daughter swim Barbie in the pool whilst we sat on the balcony.
I'd definitely recommend this property for a small family, couple or bigger family as they have accommodation downstairs too.
The owners are very hospitable and knowledgable about the local area.

“Stunning location and Gite”
Reviewed 30 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

A marvellous location and Gite, the owners were excellent hosts and provided comprehensive information about the area, restaurants and attractions.

The Gite was spotless and well appointed.

We will certainly return again.

“1st class accommodation in the heart of Southern France.”
Reviewed 26 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

The accommodation consists of a very well appointed, clean, comfortable Gite with magnificent views over the Cevenne Hills. It is situated on an elevated terrace with it's own swimming pool.
The main house is very well appointed and can also be rented out. Although we were not staying in the house the owners took great pride in showing us around and inviting us to share a drink with them on the lower terrace.
The main areas of the South of France are within easy driving distance on the quiet French roads but locally there are many lovely little villages with good restaurants and places of interest. If you are a French wine lover there are many opportunities to discover the local specialities and sample and hopefully purchase wines at very reasonable prices. We loved browsing around on market days and particularly enjoyed our visit to the Saturday market at Uzes. Roaming around the peaceful countryside and taking in the stunning scenary made our holiday . We returned home relaxed and refreshed.
