My partner and i visited at the beginning of June.
The hotel is lovely and well presented, our room had been recently refurbished and was clean and comfortable, with a balcony and a lovely sea view. We had to pay an additional €2 per day for the safe, but this didn't seem unreasonable, and they could quite easily add this into the price of the room. The air-conditioning unit was quite noisy even when you turned off the fan function on a night.
You had to pay an extra €5 per day for a fridge, which we didn't bother with, additionally there was no hot drink making facilities, but you could also pay a daily charge for these.
The room was serviced daily and the towels changed on alternate days with the bedding being changed every third day.
We were half board and the breakfast was lovely, with a really wide range of food. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the bay. On an evening we chose to sit outside which was just fantastic. The restaurant staff were very obliging and in the main spoke extremely good english. I have soya milk and they provided this for me each day.
I am vegetarian and don't eat meat or fish, this is something you should be aware of when visiting Cyprus in general, as the options are somewhat limited in a place where meat and fish are a huge part of the diet. I struggled a bit and after a few days we asked if they could make me something else, which they said they would happily do.
The hotel is quite a way from the harbour area or the nicer beaches, but it is easy to get to these places on the bus, which runs very frequently and is about a five minute walk from the hotel, these are cheap at €1.50 per trip regardless of distance or €5 for a day ticket.
There is a nice bar and happy hour is each day from 6-7pm, however this only includes alcoholic drinks.
There is a large pool, however we used the smaller one near the Olympian Wing which was quiet and there were mostly just the two of us there. There is a really nice rock pool too, which fills up from the sea.
We never struggled to get a lounger, there were plenty at the time we visited.
