“Excellent accommodation”

Super cottage. Everything you need and good quality. Near to so many things. Would stay here again. Lovely touches from Elaine of a bottle of chilled wine, chocolates, biscuits, selection of teas and coffee and fresh flowers.

“Perfect home from home and more!”
Reviewed 19 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Beautifully situated cottage in the Glencoe area. The cottage is immaculately clean and tidy with everything you could wish for. Very comfortable beds and furniture and very tastefully decorated throughout. We received a very warm welcome and really appreciated a complimentary welcome pack. A lovely patio area with seating and a fantastic view in every direction and wildlife coming right up to the cottage. Would highly recommend this beautiful cottage and we will be returning in the near future.

“Spoiler for stays elsewhere...”

As the title says, this place raises the bar to a level, other (comfortable) properties we've stayed in, struggle to achieve.
Elaine & Angus have clearly spent a lot of time & effort considering what visitors want/need during a stay in the Highlands. Thank you.
Superb welcome & very enjoyable stay.
Will definitely return.

“The best cottage we have ever stayed in”
Reviewed 16 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Roe Deer Cottage is in a stunning location, is immaculately clean, warm and cosy as well as spacious. Every thing you could possibly need is provided. I have very high standards for cleanliness and I could not fault anything. The extras provided are beyond anything we have ever had in a holiday cottage before, top quality toiletries, even hand cream and body lotion, robes and slippers, wine, chocolates, biscuits and fresh flowers. Elaine and Angus are friendly hosts who are there if you need them but leave you to enjoy your holiday if you don't.

We cannot praise this cottage highly enough. The location is perfect with many stunning places to visit within easy reach. It was a very long journey from home for us but worth every mile! We cannot wait to return.

“Heaven on earth”
Reviewed 14 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Spent a week in roe deer cottage. Thanks to Elaine and Angus for allowing us to rent this beautiful cottage. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. A fantastic welcome tray on arrival . Beautiful white fluffy towels and robes and slippers. Highland company hand made soap and shampoo . Cottage is so warm and cosy with all amenities at hand. Fabulous patio to relax on and enjoy the wonderful mountain views. Very well situated for beautiful glencoe , fort William and Ben nevis. A fantastic information basket available in the cottage with every detail of restaurants walks, hiking and everything else you might need to know about the area. I could keep going on for ever. We will certainly be back. Well done Elaine and Angus for an amazing place to enjoy in beautiful north ballychulish.
