I agree with other reviews about it being dated with its decor, but actually I think that adds to the experience. It's like going to your nans for dinner and getting a good home cooked meal and great service.
I had steak pie and chips and it was lovely, hubby had the fish and chips and enjoyed it, kids had sausage and chips and pie and chips. We all had a good meal.
(Don't be put off by seeing me put "and chips", we could have had veg and potatoes instead of we wanted a healthier option)
