A fabulous find

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 14 Sept 2021
We were looking for a place to stay the night on our journey to Nairn. Boy did we find a gem!!
After driving down the long drive into the lovely gardens we were met by Marylin. The house is stunning. Both the house and gardens are immaculate, inside, the feeling you get straight away is a wow factor.
Our room, number 3, Mary Queen of Scots, was a joy to behold.
The room was like no other we have stayed at. It was comfy, spotless, large in size and opened up through the sliding mirror doors to a lovely bathroom.
All the thoughtful touches were appreciated, such as the fruit, chocolates, prosecco, even facepacks to wear while relaxing in the corner jacuzzi bath.(and yes,, I had mine on too 😁)
We had a lovely relaxed evening enjoying the wine Marylin brought to the room.
After going up the beautiful staircase in the morning we had quite simply an absolutely delicious breakfast.. so much so that we didn't need anything else till the evening.
Marylin and her mum were so nice, as if we had been friends for years.
We have stayed in many places, but this is one we have been raving about. All down to the beautiful house and the tireless effort that the two ladies put into their home.
We will most certainly be back..

Exquisite, detailed interior and exterior design and finish. Bogenraith is set in the rich, fertile farming area South of the River Dee.
The hosts, Nan and her daughter Marilyn are charming and make the place hum with warmth and quiet confidence. The food is very good. The garden is a treat. We loved our stay and wish it could have been for longer.

Everything about our stay was excellent. Probably the best B&B l have ever stayed in.Marilyn and her Mum are marvellous, couldn't do enough for us. Boganraith House is a beautiful country house set in extensive gardens, with a novel Fire Pit in one of the gardens. Perfectly situated to tour Royal Deeside, or Aberdeen. I will definitely return.

Beautiful Bespoke Guest House, received such a warm welcome. Lovely surroundings, all you could ask for & more in the room. Prosecco on arrival with fresh fruit & chocolates. Marilyn’s little touches made our stay so comfortable. Highly recommend a stay here if visiting Aberdeen area.

Room tip: A short drive to Banchory Town Centre & Aberdeen close by too.

We were looking for a B&B for just one night in the Scottish countryside, and this was perfect for what we needed! The house itself was beautiful and very quiet as it was fur rounded by a farm and farmland. Inside the house was very decorative, comfy and luxurious. The owners were all very friendly and accommodated our every need, including our dog. A nightly notable aspect of our stay was the breakfast; the choice was fair and the food was incredible, it all felt very fancy but very relaxed and personal in a friendly environment. Wildlife is also a notable factor, with deer, rabbits and occasionally a pine Martin as local visitors on the grounds.
