I came here for St Patricks weekend 2018, had an amazing time and the guest house did not dissapoint, the room was clean and tidy and spacious with the most amazing view of the harbour. Only thing i will say i think only 4 out of all the rooms actually gets his amazing sea view. The staff were extra friendly! Only thing the room was freeezing at night, i had to wear 2 jumpers to bed and wrap my dressing gown round my feet it was horrible the room just wouldnt warm up. But overall i had a great time staying here.

Room tip: Sea View rooms are more spacious!

Friendly people. Room clean and warm with excellent bathroom. Small but tea and coffee facilities. All good. Lady was very friendly and had good recommendations on food and local pubs etc. Is very close to town and easily walked. Would book again.

Stayed here while visiting my daughter. Very friendly atmosphere. Very helpful as flight delayed and we arrived after checkin desk closed, but not a problem as we had called to let them know.
Breakfast good, and staff helpful as wife gluten free diet so they gave extras of the food she could eat to make up for the bits she couldn’t. Would have been willing to toast GF bread for her if we had supplied it.

Will rebook if available next time we come over.

On arrival checking in the manager put my wife and I into the 4th floor room 10. The lift isn’t working so you will just have to walk said he ! . The room was nice apart from the noisy plumbing and the bath panel was cracked and hanging out , a bad accident waiting to happen, and on the Sunday morning the the plumbing would not empty from bath, sink and toilet, frustrating. If those miner things were fixed this would be a lovely guest house to stay in.

Pros
Great location
Great views from room 5
Friendly welcome
Nice decor in room

Cons
Stains on carpet and wallpaper
Rust on bathroom heated towel rail
toilet seat dirty and very yellow.
Sink had a huge crack in it.
Plumbing very noisy!
Could hear every footsteps from room above us.
Breakfast only served from 8.30 till 9.30
On checkout we couldnt get anyone to answer from the office though could hear them on the phone. Finally found a member of staff to give our keys to

This could be a beautiful place to stay if it was refurbished

Room tip: Ask for room with a view
