This B & B is of a high standard. Guests have their own sitting room which has a sea view. The breakfast was excellent and we liked the sausages which were from the local butcher and the homemade bread and jams. We will certainly recommend 'The Vanner' to our friends.

Room Tip: Only two double rooms so book early

Thank you. We try to source our food locally. The jams are made from our own fruit bushes.

Excellent B&B, Megan and John made us feel very welcome, rooms ere clean and very comfortable. Breakfast choice is excellent with homemade bread and homemade jams. A great find, well recommended. Perfect location on the seafront. Great residents lounge and separate dining room both of which look out over the sea.

Room Tip: Both rooms the same.

Went for an early summer mid - week break to the Vanner. For those of you who have not visited Aberdovey, give yourself a treat and enjoy a couple of days there. Wonderful scenery, great little shops and bars and .snowdonia on your doorstep. We stayed at the Vanner guest house, only 2 guest rooms but comfortable and welcoming. If you book ask for the front bedroom, it has spectacular views from the windows. The breakfasts are to die for and the land lady bakes her own bread and serves home made jams with the toast - Wonderful. Will definitely go again.

Alan B.

Room Tip: Get the room overlooking the estuary

A very clean and comfortable bedroom. Super views from the lounge over the Dyfi estuary. Breakfast excellent with homemade bread and a choice of homemade jam. Very convenient for the beach and shops and restaurants. Parking outside although I think we were very lucky with that, May not be so good at busy times of the year. We were greeted warmly and made to feel at home.

Room Tip: For the less able, choose first floor.

Felt very welcome, room very comfy. Ideal location for some lovely restaurants, and did 3 walks without having to use the car straight from The Vanner. Views were amazing while having a very tasty breakfast.

Thank you for you kind words. We have some fabulous walks around the village, some more challenging than others , but all get the amazing views of the estuary.
