This has now changed hands and is called harbour lights. We have always used Pharoahs in the past and it was brilliant. We booked this for a Sunday lunch.
The staff didn’t seem to have a clue. We ordered the wine and that came out wrong they put it on the table in a wine wrap cooler so the label couldn’t be read. We poured our own wine and only when we all started to drink it we realised the mistake. We told the waitress who offered to change it but we left it as we had started to drink it .
When we ordered the starter it came out and was nice enough but as it was the goats cheese we asked for a bread roll which never turned up at all so we got on with it.
When we ordered the mains we requested a couple of extra gravy’s of course we were told always loads of gravy. When they brought out the main the waitress realised that the starters hadn’t been cleared away yet. She panicked put our mains she was carrying onto the table next to us who was waiting for there starters while she cleared the table. The table next to us was in bewilderment. When they had eventually sorted out there mistake they took the meals off the table next to us for our mains which were now a lot cooler.we then had to ask a lot for the extra gravy . The meal was tough and processed and over cocked meat.
You could tell the staff didn’t have a clue and need a lot of training.
