Description: The White Hart is a fascinating building, its intriguing architecture bearing witness to many and varied stylistic influences in vogue since it was built in the early 17th century. It was originally positioned right next to the Sevenoaks turnpike, and as you'd expect of a coaching inn that has been nourishing and refreshing travellers for over 300 years, you'll find character and charm at every turn.

This is a nice pub / restaurant easy to find on the main road just South of Sevenoaks town. Once inside, the staff are all welcoming and helpful and the whole place is very well decorated, with lots of different areas in which to get seated and eat ranging from cosy corners to more open plan areas including a conservatory. What is also nice is that the pub is big enough to have a dedicated bar area with a great selection of six real ales to choose from. Very nice. The White Hart is mainly a restaurant and although I didn't eat on this visit, the food looked good. The restaurant areas were nearly full on Monday lunchtime which shows how popular it is to eat here so I would recommend booking ahead. There's a big car park at the front which is really handy too. We intend to make another visit and have dinner here.

We were visiting friends for a few days and they were keen for us to try their favourite pub for Sunday lunch. We fancied eating at 1pm but the earliest we could get a table was 3.15 and they convinced us it was worth waiting for. After a stroll through Knole Park, we headed back to the pub which was still packed to the rafters. It has a real cosy feeling and the fires were so welcome on a damp and chilly December day. Service was excellent for such a busy place and it wasn’t long before we were tucking into 2 delicious traditional Sunday lunches, a chicken & leek pie & a superb nut roast. Only 3 of us managed puddings - I was one of them and the millionaire ‘s cheesecake with caramel sauce & sour cherry & amaretto sorbet has to be just the best pudding I’ve ever eaten. It was absolutely superb - I nearly ordered another portion! Lovely experience & we’re fully intending to return next time we’re down in the area

The White Hart has a large carpark with easy access from Sevenoaks and Tonbridge. We had a table for four booked for 12.15 but were a little later than our dining companions. We had a nice round table for four, by the wood burner fire. The restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday afternoon but the tables weren't squashed together. Service was prompt although we must have been a bit annoying because we were so busy talking , we forgot to look at the menu. We eventually selected our food and chatted away until it arrived. I must say, it was delicious. Two had Prawn and Linguine with lemon and chilli dressing, one Quiche and one small Cod and chips (which was ample). Everyone enthused about the quality of the fare and the warm friendly atmosphere. Service was impeccable, and the cappuccino to finish was superb. Faultless I think.

Love the White Hart - great feel, good food and great service. Their Harvey’s drinks very well and usually have a decent rotation of smaller volume ales.

Excellent new manager works the diners well greeting and checking everything is ok.

Lovely local.

This is a really lovely pub. Food is very good. Unfortunately they only have one token vegan/vegetarian main. Some seasons it changes. I do think more than one vegan dish in this day and age is appropriate. We are no longer the tag on or odd ones out. In my family out of 5 there are 3 vegans. If we go all all end up eating the same thing so we seldom go.
